I think anyone still holding these is more of an optimist than I ever was.

I should have sold at around 70p but held on in the hope of some improvement in the underlying assets. It was not to be and I finally exited just before Christmas 2025 - after the 1.44p ex-div. My best decision as far as VSL goes. The share price is down almost 30% since then although you have had the benefit of another 1.7p dividend.

Good luck to you all. In my humble opinion, you will need it. The Management and BOD seem to be clueless how to restore any value to the assets, replacing so-called asset backed lending with potentially worthless equity.

Better late than never. hare price initial reaction is not very positive though.

So, they sell an asset with a book value of around £115million for £105million that is reflected in the share price at about £60 million (give or take) and the share price falls.

The argument probably being that the "family silver" is being sold at a 10% discount, so the remaining dross is probably not worth very much in a "fire sale" scenario.

Still disappointing along with the delayed dividend payment.

I might regret this - but I am back in. The dividend and possible uplifting to a share price closer to the NAV is too good an opportunity to miss. About 70,000 shares split between my ISA and SIPP at just under 52p.

They have to have worked out the numbers correctly this time - right?

Sold my Investment account holding a few days ago and both my SIPP and ISA holdings today.

There are too many reasonable dividend opportunities that provide a better alternative.

This has been my worst investment ever. The Investment Manager has been incompetent at best. How can they turn so-called asset backed lending into worthless equity? Makes one wonder about the valuation put on the assets. And calls into question the performance fees paid when the holdings were given inflated valuations.

Sold my entire holding of 136500 shares. Today, I got 61.5p for my ISA 73500 and same price for my SIPP 54000. My Investment lot went Tuesday at 60.8128p.

This no longer fits my income investment strategy. I was going to wait for the January "Special" but I imagine that many sellers will appear then and the prospect of a promised 3p doesn't cut it for me. They lost me when they lied about the previous 7p promise.

I am off to SEIT and the prospect of a juicy 1.59p in December.

Overall, dividends included, GSF made a small profit.

Whilst I welcome the RNS, I would just mention that Saba do not possess these shares. They have entered into a Swap deal only. This means that an existing holder of these shares has relinquished certain Rights as owner, passing those Rights to Saba in consideration of a cash payment.

And the last quarterly payment has gone from 6.20p to 6.25p

Seems to me that those figures are increasing year on year.

I have voted against the wishes of the Board.

Not because I support RM, whose motives I am not sure about, but purely as a protest against the way the current Board has been so shifty regarding dividend "targets".

They have almost doubled income earning capacity, boasted about GSET and yet more than halved the 25/26 dividend "target".

To be more clear - if you SELL the shares today, you will still receive the dividend when it is paid.

It is NOT "going ex dividend". It is ex-div today. If you own the shares today, then you qualify for the dividend.

The Record Date is tomorrow.

It just means that the company is not valuable enough to feature in the top 250. It will be in the FTSE 350 and All-Share.

There is no danger of it being "delisted".

I am with HL. I couldn't test a buy - but selling 25000 shares, bid 70.10 and offer 70.60, I could have sold at 70.3262.

Not long to go now!

What's the feeling among investors here? Will the share price react to a vote either way? Will it go up/down if RM win? Will it go up/down if the Board successfully repels the incursion?

My gut tells me that the share price will fall irrespective of the outcome, at least in the short term - but I am holding on anyway as I am an investor, not a speculator.
