Project Antelope!!!

Have put some resources into understanding this.

"Antelopes often stand still for a long time and can go to speed abruptly relying on that incredible speed and agility to elude the most fearsome predators." I get the standing still bit, looking forward to full speed.

"Around a quarter of antelope species are currently threatened by extinction" This is the threat of the green lobby. Enquest is a survivor.

"Antelope can live for 10 to 25 years" That'll do.

There was lots of stuff about mating and "pronking" but couldn't work it in.

Antelopes aside I worked through the prospectus and as with the Rights Issue I think you get some good incites from the Gaffney Cline documents. GEAD further developments 2023-25.

Most of it way above my pay grade though.

Swedish and USA non participation seems harsh.

So the aforementioned boulder is on the Magnus to Brent gas export line. Don't know if that would involve a shutdown but keeping an eye on Enquest charters to find remedial plans. Reorted by Enq so their responsibilty it seems.

Stuck between a rock and a frikkin hard place . . . . sound familiar???

Maybe this is the problem:

"Hazard - Large Boulder Resting on Pipeline PL164
Type: Hazard

A large boulder with approximate dimensions 3m length, 2m width and 1.5m height is resting on a 20" Gas Export Pipeline. The position of the boulder presents a snag hazard and potential for significant damage to the pipeline and fishing vessel / equipment. EnQuest request that this location is avoided by all fishing activity until this hazard has been removed"

It has felt like a large boulder has been a snagging hazard on my pipeline for the last 3 years. This is an official moan. Gas export also which is ironic.

Enquest, please go north and stop me having to take the pith out of you.

I guess the "solution" and the "strategy" are things that have to meet the OGA 2050 target or Scotland's 2045 ambitions.

I like the fact that it isn't just the quantity of Shetland wind but the "quality" of it, which refers to consistency. "World Class Wind" or "always frikkin windy".

No abuse here. I love your meanderings. You are of course still 25% of the problem but you are happy with that. My Enviromental Scientist of a daughter is back from Gothenburg and up for Daddy based oil discussions, like wtf. I am content that someone will need to provide oil for some time to avoid global economic collapse and happy to back a necessary player which I think Enq will become.

How about this for a thought. Invite Greta to be keynote speaker at the 60p party? Now who will get abuse?

I think that survey boat has my porn name. Currently treating the subsea like a beautiful lady, slow and careful and then a swift acceleration to the next phase. Looks a bit Kraken North but moving with purpose toward the moist untapped depths of Bressay. The captain has "Je t'aime" full blast on the bridge.

Golden Eggs indeed. If the deal doesn't close till end of year, average oil price $68, average production just under 12kbopd, opex per barrel $15, tax at 60%, I get about $130 million for the year. All those variables rather conservative.

Question - On a shared ownership site does the majority holder make the sale or hedge and partners roll with it or is it a complicated mix of all partners doing their own thing with their own portion.

Do I need to waste my time researching Suncor or CNOCC hedging strategies . . . or should I just have another glass of wine?
