I;m clearly Oil/Gas obsessed. In the Barclays documents under Selected Operating Metrics they add Oil b/d to Gas cf/d to get Total boe/d. That does not work. Maths is wrong or label is wrong. Should we trust them?

I spend an unhealthy amount of time with my spreadsheet and scouring t'internet for a dollop of tasty Enquestt related info. It is amazing how little gets out. That is either poor comms or a really really frikkin tight ship. Lament the former but admire the latter.

Assume average oil price of $65
Assume Average costs per barrel (OP/Cap/AB/Fin) $15 per barrel
Assume GEAD has chuntered along similar to June rates for rest of period
Shrink 3% from OGA figures
Tax at 40%
Result is just under $105 million

Assume same production last two months of year
Average Oil Price $80
Costs and shrinkage the same
No Tax
Just over $47million

What am I missing?

With infill programme complete capex will likely be low also. This gets better and better. We will all be able to afford heat pumps for the house and the shed . . . maybe one to keep the garden warm for the magpies.

I have average Brent for first 9 months using monthly data of $67.71. The data source is not necessarily the official competition source so is just an indicator. If monthly average has a slow and steady rise through to December then I'm gushing like a predictive genius and you're all dusters. I think there are three of us left in it. I agree with L3. Net working interest is the 50 %. That 50% is subject to the "Revenue over Cost model" as shown in CMD 2015 page 69 and 70. Same as the BP allotment coming off as a payment rather than less barrels.

Enquest entitlement varies not surprisingly with Revenue and Cost. I think I have 67% in my numbers.

Too many unknowns but to give it a go:

Assume produced saleable gas is about 4% of production and previous gas sales at $50 minus Op/Cap/Abex of $30

Assume sale price has tripled over 50% of year then increased revenue = $39 million for produced gas but you then have to take out a portion for BP and Petronas so let's call it $ 30 million

Imported gas is the big question as it accounts for the majority of gas sales and there are no production costs (a bit of tariff maybe). How did they buy it and can they sell it for a frikkin massive profit? With the speed of the spike you would like to think there was some benefit there.

GEAD 13,165 boepd July which is also of course more than 10k. Poor April only going to drive the 12k number higher unless **** happens.
