The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
295,683 shares bought this morning.
Very happy with the price as I had thought I'd be paying 5 or 6p this morning after yesterday's news. Seems there are some big sellers about which should dry up with all this volume pretty quickly I would have thought.
Whilst I'd love for this to get up to 6-8p in short order, this is very much a bottom drawer share for me. I may trade a few along the way and will add more as and when, but the bulk will be kept for the long haul.
I've been in WSG for a few years now, so I know all about patience :)
Has something leaked somewhere, or are we all getting our knickers in a twist over nothing?
Twitter has certainly ramped up which has coincided with this little upwards movement.
Abingdon's tweets are surely a signal something will drop soon?
All this fuss this afternoon and nothing has changed really. Imagine what it will be like when it does pop!
Agree 100%.
Will need another msc to get his moving. Annoying as tema was supposed to be the big one.
£3 per crate is not enough for a re-rate though. Maybe ksc will be?
I have until the agm to double my money on odx and get back in. I am a glutton for punishment ......
I still hold 300k shares here but am beginning to feel what the proper lths here have felt over the years. It all “sounds” fantastic and then what emerges is usually a disappointment.
The issue here (as amply demonstrated by this message board) is that this share along with a few others, is currently flavour of the month.
It attracts traders looking for 20% as well as punters who don’t normally invest but fancy making 200% in a week.
As long as you are happy with your research and the prospects then hold and don’t sweat the day to day movements. Best thing most people could do is turn off the internet and come back in a month or two and see where we are then.
The chances of an effective vaccine being produced in the next 3-4 months have to be pretty slim. Even then antibody testing will still be needed.
Yep - you may be right too esduk!
I would have thought that with everything signed now (apart from our contract!) if the revenue received in 2019 was only a percentage of what we are eventually due, then that would have been made clear at this point. No reason not to be clear any more.
Still, 1.25m TEUs in 2020 * £3 is still decent, just not a game changer like I thought it would be back in summer 2019.
For any significant movement we'll need something from Saudi (seems like it'll be a while away with travel restrictions) or some further news on corona related stuff. The vending machine item was very interesting and could be big. Would have thought that needed doing asap as well, so might see an RNS about that in the next week or two with any luck.
At the end of 2019 we were told that Tema revenue was "several hundreds of thousands".
We now know that 309k TEUs were processed. Suggests that we are being paid no more than £3 per TEU, as otherwise PF would have said we'd had revenues of a million, not several hundred k.
In the CEO's section, there was this:
Vehicles/Containers Served ('000) 309 in 2019, 0 in 2018
Could this be how many TEUs we did in Tema?
Is everything and mine has been a bit off with purchasing these (average 56p).
Its highly frustrating thinking that I could have bought another x000 shares with the same amount of money, everyone would feel that in the same situation.
Despite being down at the moment, I'm happy with my position and I'm sure I'll make a decent wedge when everything finally kicks off. Just poor timing, nothing else and nobody ever gets it 100% right all of the time.
Pick a winner and be patient.
Doesn't look like the pre-weekend boost will happen today.
Everyone already got as many as they need?
Maybe all funding shares already sold for this month?
Could see 14-15p or so if that is the case.
Lots of long suffering lths. Many been here for 8 or more years.
Fantastic prospects but held back by events outside of company’s control - Ebola, trump being a dick - and also held back by over promising / under delivering board.
The feeling for the last couple of years has been that things will change for the better, who knows maybe now is the time.
The “off out to.......” comments are a perpetual homage to our resident ramper/deramper (depending on which way the wind is blowing today) poster DHC.
I’ve been here for a few years now and am still holding and hoping that things will finally go our way.
Shares are pretty tightly held so any news, good or bad has a big effect on SP and we also have a pretty ****ty financing deal hanging over us for a while yet.
That will be irrelevant if some really big news hits.
I think that is about the size of it, but I’ve probably missed something!
Would be happy with sticking above 12p today.
Volume is encouraging!
All the wailing and gnashing of teeth and we are 1p down on the day lol.
What a lot of hot air :)
Agree sbs - its what we were waiting for in the results. I very much doubt we'll be told what we are being paid per container, but we (well MikeGP really!) might be able to reverse engineer something.......
Give that man a banana!
You were doing so well until the arsenal unbeaten reference. Then it was too obvious.
Thanks for the entertainment though, jolly good effort!!
Well yes, its obvious what he is doing, I just find it tedious personally.
Ferrari - we all want this to do well, but there is no reason to post the same thing 10 times a day..............
Managed to get 57p which i could have timed better but happy to be in almost regardless.
Missed out on ncyt as I didn’t think it had much further to go from £1. Turns out I was wrong :)
This has the potential to go further imo.
