OPEC will not need to extend cuts. As you say many oilies are unprofitable under $40, indeed shale is unprofitable under $55 in the long term. These companies will stop producing and OPEC will make up the shortfall in demand. Almost like it was orchestrated.....

I agree with you posh to an extent and yes testing is very important worldwide.

But that doesnt change the fact this company is listed in the UK and is affected by UK sentiment, irrespective of where the company is planning on selling tests.

@Big bench. Can you explain your reasoning behind this:

Given I was talking about oil and banking stocks. Oil fell to $20 towards the end of April and is now roughly double that. How do you think that oil the stocks rising as a result is a "false rise"? Oil price rises, oil stocks will go up. Pretty simple dont you think?

Banks supplying bounceback loans to coronavirus affected businesses are having these loans backed by the government. So the government rather than the banks are the ones with capital at risk yet after the first year interest free the banks will be making 2.5% interest, which is much more than they are paying out on interest rates. How is the banking recovery a "false rise"

If none of you believe me about the importance of sentiment then just look at these numbers. I do think that we will have a big rise on sales news. But I think people are starting to move profits out of these stocks now. I am considering taking a profit off the table now, lost a big paper profit on GKP many years ago and will not be making the same mistake here.

Sentiment for covid stocks is dropping and at the same time money is moving into the recovery of banking and oil stocks. Its not difficult to see if you take off the rose tinted specs for once.
