Absolutely Chris
KK was working to his own agenda.
SN being pictured hooking up the gas in 2014, the all singing rns of September 2016 and the relentless work within the Atlantic council and US congress was not because there was no Gas.
People continue to post here that we will only see true benefit when we prove up the asset- what do they think we have been doing for 20 years. Modern techniques and technology will meerly increase both the speed of delivery and the recoverable volume of the asset.
Yet again i refer back to SN in 2016 -Steve C. Nicandros, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer commented:
“Important milestones have been achieved with the evolution and implementation of our stimulation and completion designs at Zone 9 within our Oil Window objectives in the central region of the South Kakheti Complex. In a similar fashion to technical breakthroughs that were achieved in similar settings in the United States’ recent unconventional reservoir renaissance, we are achieving important success with each new completion. While this work has required a patient and methodical approach, the results have demonstrated that our technical approach is leading to game changing outcomes.
Similarly, within our Gas Window operations, detailed technical work continues to trend in a positive direction as the size of the identified gas resource continues to grow. The integrated technical analysis that Frontera has conducted has never before been done. Because of this, our work continues to uncover a major regional source of gas supply for Georgia’s domestic market and Europe’s import requirement for many decades to come. As we continue to work closely with Georgia’s Ministry of Energy, our hope is that we can soon find a way forward that will accelerate our efforts to bring this gas to market.”
This part really sticks out for me in light of the GOGC/SAOG request to enter arbotrational discussion. They havent given detail to what they want to discuss- just that they want a conversation.
I like this bit - As we continue to work closely with Georgia’s Ministry of Energy, our hope is that we can soon find a way forward that will accelerate our efforts to bring this gas to market.”
Now that sentence is from September 2016. Around 21 months have passed with reports of NDAs and a clamour of rumour and sudden GOGC interest in our asset. Block energy have probably benefited more becuase of that- 10 million thrown at them to drill on their block which is no where near as advanced or as good as ours.
join the dots and make your own picture- mine is looking rosey.
