RE: Trouble at Mill...30 Dec 2022 14:53
Hi, Straycat, hope you have a good Christmas and all the best for the New Year.
In Dec ‘21 they wrote, “The Board has carefully considered the issues and has addressed them, to the extent possible or necessary”
In Dec ‘22 they wrote, “The Board has carefully considered all feedback and has addressed issues, to the extent possible or necessary.”
So the issues are either impossible to solve in their opinion or solvable - the “impossible” go in the bin.
The solvable ones are divide up into those which are deemed necessary by them and those which are unnecessary - the “unnecessary” go in the bin.
The ones which are deemed necessary are solved but only to the extent they see as needed - the extra bits others might include go in the bin.
I wonder how many of your concerns ended up in that bin - you have posted a few with reasons.
If any of my concerns had ended up in the bin this year, maybe just like they were last year, this time I would go on the attack.
Who made the decision, why was it made etc..?
“And getting nothing of any substance.” would not be an acceptable outcome.
In the context of “trouble at t’mill’ will be interesting see where changes, if any, are subsequently needed within the structure/departments - manager, overlooker, underlooker…
