Pensana have yet to receive funding from the ATF. I don’t believe the company itself has declared it has received anything. The company has however declared that funding will be announced this quarter, which must mean either today or tomorrow. I have never said anything on this BB that was knowingly false or misleading. In fact my pronouncements have actually turned out to be a lot more accurate than the company’s. Put it this way, if Atherley said that finance would be committed next quarter would you believe him???????

Sundrum. I said that every statement that the company has made regarding finance over the last two years has turned out to be at best misleading. That isn’t a lie. That is fact. Even mumbles was conned by Atherley into believing finance was round the corner (last July) and landed up having to buy me a case of wine. I know it’s very painful for you to admit I have been right all along and I understand why your cohorts struggle with the reality of this debacle.

What the SP is telling everyone is that there will be no finance announced. The company has never bothered to correct misleading statements about finance. Annual report last June (finance advanced), green bond, the Mou with who, last quarter, the Norwegians, there must be a dozen occasions where they have intimated that finance is round the corner. If they had done this in the US they would be in serious trouble. The fact that none of the posters here has a clue what is going on is both unsurprising and shocking. But this is classic Atherley, reckless, fast and loose with the truth. I read some of his lithium venture claims and just shake my head in disbelief. He hasn’t changed in 30 years!

Agree. Critical that they demonstrate strong sales growth for core products. A surprise either way would have a dramatic impact on the sp.

1eye, whatever you lost on SO4 you will make it back on Creo. The circumstances that crashed Creo’s sp were unusual and have given an incredible opportunity to people like you. If you take the time to read what the Creo instruments can do, maybe start with the most recent publications, annual report, it is amazing. Han**** is an absolute genius. Of that there is no doubt.

It’s certainly a thought. What could be the potential damage to CMR or Intuitive if they were shut out of the Creo technology? Does the suite of Creo products genuinely provide a significant competitive advantage? Creo has been around a while now, both CMR and Intuitive must have taken a very close look but not much has happened. Plus the valuation of Creo is so, so low yet that hasn’t attracted their attention. $20m would give either CMR or Intuitive a blocking stake in Creo, so even if they didn’t want to acquire it at least they could stop their competitor from having a free run at it. Or do they see the robotic market as so vast that they don’t care? I certainly don’t have the knowledge to be able to answer any of these questions but it is certainly intriguing.

Tony. The inability of the company to arrange finance has nothing to do with the current banking crisis, a phenomenon that only surfaced with SVB a few weeks back. Have you ever figured why Hohnen and Maclachlan abandoned ship? Since replaced by Alison who? Why does Atherley fail? You’re not smelling the coffee. Staring at presentation slides, technical charts, global issues and trends is not where or how you will find the answers. Meanwhile the company lurches towards another imminent cash flow crisis.

It’s not stupid Tony. The guy asking for finance has burned over $250m of investors money on 3 failed ventures and you are surprised everyone shows him the door? The lithium venture is another wheeze, what on earth are sane people doing putting their money into that? Another classic get rich quick Atherley scheme that will 100% end in tears. Scroll back to this post in 24 months time and wish you had taken note. The notion that the company turned down finance because it was too expensive is farcical. This is a company that has publicly declared that this is a money back in 18 months scheme. If that were true the cost of finance would be irrelevant. So which bit isn’t true? Is it the money back in 18 months, the finance being too expensive or both? Take your pick.

Which Q1? Annual report last June said financing was at an advanced stage. The company has never, ever made an announcement or declaration regarding finance that it has subsequently fulfilled or honoured. So no reason to believe this occasion is any different. And given the size of Atherley’s mouth if finance was imminent the sp would be moving and volumes would be very much higher. So imo nothing is about to happen.

CMR has less than 5% of the market plus Creo is already wedded to Intuitive. So no bidding war. The hope some time back was that either Olympus or J & J would have a tilt at Creo.

BBD 100% agree with your observations. Obviously if the Intuitive business takes off the break even point could come forward. I asked the directors very recently if there were any emerging threats to the Creo technology and they were adamant there is nothing whatsoever out there or in the pipeline. To me this is absolutely crucial because there is no doubt at all that the Creo instruments are at the leading edge. This company will reach its destination. The rewards for shareholders will come, it’s just timing. I was surprised that Intuitive hasn’t taken the opportunity to buy Creo for nothing but many companies like Intuitive have a fairly rigid business model and resist temptations to diversify. Hopefully over the coming months we will see Intuitive really rubber stamp the Creo technologies and effectively eliminate any doubt about the company’s prospects.

Atherley and Saltend. That would fix it. Atherley because his track record is an insurmountable obstacle to finance and Saltend because it is a bridge too far. Nothing wrong with being a mining company. And if you're making a bonfire might as well stick China and the reptile on it. Maybe they're good for kindling if nothing else!

Agree, £2.1m is a significant sum. The directors are very confident that they can make this work, couple this with Intuitive I think at 25p or so this is an extraordinary opportunity.

Institutions won’t be forward selling their placing shares, there isn’t a market for high volumes anyhow. There will be some smaller investors looking for an arbitrage and so we will see the shares zigzagging around in the 20’s. My guess it will settle around mid 20’s. If the company cranks the speedboat sales say from £ 9m to £18m over the next 12 months or so then that will put a rocket under the sp because the inference will be that 18 becomes 36 etc etc. I think that is exactly what will happen. Furthermore there are other routes to faster sales growth. If these instruments can be used in conventional surgery then they must also be ideal for robotic surgery and you don’t have to train the robot. And almost all the robotic surgery in the world is controlled by one company so only one door to kick down. The fact that the sp fell 90% and the company was able to raise £25m just like that should tell you everything you need to know.

Mumbles couldn’t find anything on page 28 but still puzzled. Never knew you could change the domicile of a company, maybe that’s an EU thing? What would be the logic or reason for turning a gmbh into an LDA? And if it was a post balance sheet event in 2021 why were the companies still shown as gmbh’s in note 19 in 2022? I know this is of no importance or significance, I just find it intriguing. I am assuming from the loans to group undertakings that one of these Portuguese companies holds Longonjo and or Coola?

Not sure you’re right about that Mumbles. Look at Note 19 and C2 and C3 pages 124 and 125 of the Annual Report. Intrigued as to how the gmbh’s became Portuguese companies, by the looks of things since year end because in note 19 they are still gmbh. Visited Portugal Companies House, no clues there, which is odd too. Couldn’t even find them on the register.

It must be 6 months since we got the last incredible drilling results from Coola. Next world beating results must be imminent!
