I posted on 18 December that the Card Factory app in Apple’s App Store had only 21 reviews, admittedly 5 star. Moonpig has 252,000. Just checked again today and the figures are:
36 for CF versus 265,000 for Moonpig.
That's 15 more reviews in 17 days - less than one a day. Come on Card Factory - pull your fingers out and get the news out there!

Really disappointed to see that there’s no mention of him having any digital / online experience. Costcutter are hardly renowned for their online presence. This feels like a big opportunity missed.

Just seen that there’s a Card Factory app available in Apple’s App Store. Two problems:
1. I searched for Card Factory and it didn’t even come top of that search list. Moonpig did!
2. It has only 21 reviews, admittedly 5 star. Moonpig has 252,000!
My conclusion is that this is either a very soft launch to iron out any bugs, or the app is in desperate need of some publicity.
What a shame they didn’t get this out there and publicised in time for Christmas.

I disagree however about there being no point in advertising. I consider myself an average middle aged consumer and I had only heard about Moonpig's personalised card service. It's the one my kids told me about. They didn't mention CF. I only became aware of it through reading these message boards. I accept that one person makes for a very small consumer sample but it seems most other posters on this board agree we need to increase the public awareness of our online offering.

Cards is the perfect product for online sales. You don't need to try it on. You get a very good visual represntation of the finished product. You can make it bespoke. It's easy to deliver. So we should be aiming to increase sales by 600% or 6000%, not a mer 60%.

I would love to see them halt any new store openings, reduce their existing store numbers significantly and spend the money saved on improving their online delivery capability. The latter is already a good service but although they are telling us about big % increases in online sales, I suspect that this is from a very low base and that the numbers today are still low in absolute terms. Hopefully any new MD will have a really solid background in online (website and app) sales and distribution. Seems a pretty obvious strategy which, if we deliver on, should see the SP back over a quid.

So I receivedf the card I ordered very promptly and it's a good quality product at a great price. As a customer, I'm really pleased with the service. As a shareholder though, it just makes me wonder, why they aren't shouting about this from the rooftops?

Alf - why the personal insults just because someone holds a less optimistic view than you? All genuine opinions are valid and I'm sure Colbalt is genuine because I've been reading his posts for many years and over that time seen his initial optimism fade to frustration. It's particularly unnecessary because, as you shold know, Colbalt has filtered out your posts. Also disappointing to see that your personal attack was ticked up twice! Please can't we all be civil to one another?

New lunar - you say "There's been sod all volume. We've all been here long enough to know its just the MMs shaking the tree." Actually, that's not true because I've been here since the beginning and I don't know that. What an SP price drop signifies to me is an excess of supply over demand. If there was an excess of demand over supply, the MMs mark the price up and vice versa. If you think that the price is too low, then buy more, but given the lack of progress and any news here, it would be a real gamble!
FYI - I've sold most of my shares here but have retained a few just in case By-Health comes good.

Just used CF's website to buy a card for the first time and I used the personalisation option. Not a perfect experience but overall pretty simple and intuitive. I think that they should be shouting about this option a bit more. All I see being advertised is the more expensive Moonpig.

As expected, lots of discussion on sticky blood. Not even a whisper about Fruitflow.

Fingers crossed for better news from By-Health

Just received an email back from 'Provexis' (presumably Ian) to say that they are aware of tonight's Radion 4 programme and 'would confirm that in an announcement on 13 August 2020 the company stated:
COVID-19 impact'
..blah..
....blah blah
"The Company and its Alliance partner DSM Nutritional Products have experienced increased consumer interest for Fruitflow in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, " ..... blah blah ....

But what is increased consumer interest? Is it enquiries or sales? Is it 1%, 10% or 100% etc? I'm not expecting a big increase in sales because I think they would have said something like 'have experienced SIGNIFICANTLY increased consumer interest'. We shall see!

Agreed, but it doesn't cost much to get in touch with the BBC to make sure that they (and the rest of the media) are aware of our product with its EFSA certified benefits which are absolutely central to the topic they are covering.

This Tuesday at 21:00, Radio 4’s programme ‘Inside Health’ is focused on ‘Sticky Blood: From blood clots to CoVid-19’.
Really hope that we get a mention here but, given our inability thus far to raise public awareness, I fear we won’t.
Probably a bit too late to influence the programme content now, but I have today messaged Ian Ford to make sure he knows about it.

I agree with you and it seems that Belen Romana Garcia, one of the Independent Non-Executive Directors, agrees with us given that on 26th June it was reported she had bought a wedge of shares. Admittedly, not that many - a couple of thousand odd - but nobody likes to waste money!

I think that this is good news. There's been too many store openings too quickly and not enough emphasis on the digital channels. Hope that we can get someone in who can develop the online side much further.

Disappointingly but unsurprisingly, Fruitflow is not mentioned. It does sound as though it really could help though. So why can’t or don’t Provexis or DSM or any of the many companies that use Fruitflow as an ingredient get this message out there?

Good of you to address the post. It would be even better if you confirmed that you looked into the complaints to see if there is any truth or merit in them and, if so, then put in place a plan to improve matters.

I've also been invested for at least 10 years. I used to post occassionally on iii as TrenthamExile (what a mess theyve made of that once great message board!).
Unlike most of my holdings, I think I'm just about in profit with PXS and now just retain a modest 100,000. For me, the only reason for retaining these few shares is the possibility that ByHealth might make something of Fruitflow. I'm not terribly optimistic though. It's a shame it never really kicked off in the UK or the rest of the Western world because it's a decent product with some worthy health benefits. Perhaps they're trying to charge too much for it?
Also, I really don't understand why other posters are having a pop at you - I can't see anything you've posted that deserves such aggressive responses. You'd think at times like this we might all be a bit kinder to one another. Anyway, good luck to all and especially all those keeping us healthy!

Here's my fantasy share price predictions but I'm not brave enough to give you timescales particularly as the world seems somewhat distracted at the moment!
Assuming that it's RP treatment is commercialised worldwide, then I'd guess at £5 per share as a minimum
But if the stroke treatment works and is commercialised, you could proably shift the decimal point to the right - so £50!

Since most of the world will be spending far less on foreign travel, commuting costs and going to pubs & restuarants etc. it begs the question what will those who continue to enjoy an income do with all that money saved? I'd have thought that a lot of people will be spending it online and getting stuff delivered to their house, hopefully in SMDS packaging. So I think this is a 'Buy' but have my fingers firmly crossed!
