Hamiltonbro................well called.
M12, According to the LSE Orm share price Table .......................473M Cheers TOB
SpecialoneK I use A J Bell youinvest. I have not undertaken a placing with them but I am very happy with them so far.
You are correct in that PrimaryBid placing transactions need to go into a General Dealing A/c and then transferred to your ISA via a bed and Isa transaction I do all my deals/communication via the email/ internet unless I need clarification when they are happy to deal via phone.
Get your skates on ..........Cheers TOB
RH69. Ouch sounds like you''e had a bruising time but it looks like a continuation of yesterday , a good number of 20K buys going through plus interest from many sub £1000 so Pi catching on, but we mustn't get to exited as most Hydrogen industry are on the climb -except PHE which has got a case of the hick-ups
Cheers TOB
Hello HB, When people cotton on - blimey it taking them long enough! By the time they do all the cash will be gone.
I do hope your chart is right 2.8 short term yummy, I do love an SP that goes up on 3 small sells .
I think that it is your posting on the BB that does it!
Cheers TOB
Good Morning Dr.A.................you are right in saying that the record shows 17M Buy 13M Sold total Volume 30M.(now35m)....................but the share price table shows Total Volume at 50M..............which clearly doesn't add up, I have asked LSE to explain this they replied " That is what we are give and we have no control over the accuracy"
A good start to the day, most deals in the useful 10k & 20k + range. This follows on from yesterday with volume high at 1.7m one would have to go back to 22 Jan to see volume anywhere near this level (2m and coincidentaly the Sp was 44.) ..................Very interesting
Morning HB, Well something is going on for sure or is it?, Orm SP has a track record of teasing and then dropping back and .70 seems a barrier.
Good morning Asb1, Iv'e had to give a lot of thought about "averaging" I believe the most important consideration for you" is why did you buy and are you of the same opinion"?
For me TRX is an exciting company with a good future therefore committing more funds to average down makes sense.
My situations, actions and thinking . After several buys my average is 1.21 OUCH! The placing and soon to be made additional buy will reduce this down to .535
If we take the SP at .25 it will need to increase by 114% for me to break even. ( but look at current SP)
Doing nothing however would require the SP (from.25) to increase by 210%.
I use a spreadsheet and have great fun testing different scenarios ( what else can I do in lockdown!)
Never forget the new funds must be available for long term commitment.
In my view the Admission of such a vast number of new shares creates an opportunity to add or average down.
Hope that this helps....from my perspective only.
Keep safe all......give the NHS a break
Greetings all, in my post many of you read and reacted to to word "sell" rather than the point I was trying to make which was that I think I missed an opportunity to make a little money whilst still maintaining my original share holding ( possibly increasing it by using the value gained) by using the placing to my advantaged . To explain
The share price at the time of placing announcement was .975
Allocated 200,000. Purchased at .25 = £500
Act swiftly and sell for say .8 = £1600
Gain = £1100
Buy back 200,000 .4 = £ 800
Net gain = £ 300 available for reinvestment
Several of you are saying that the SP on Admission will be sub .25 so buy might back .35 thus increasing the net gain. No change to Shareholding post Admission.
Hope you don't think that I'm trying to teach granny how to suck eggs
Cheers TOB
Grateful thanks to NHS , carers and all front line facing staff.
hamiltonbro, 1 buy £45! followed by 1 sell £509 spread the same ...............nothing to justify uptick, but I don't mind as long as it keeps going up!..............
hamiltonbro, well that will be interesting we have 2 buy&sells Vol 1181 buy 1915 sells
So sell volume is about 61% greater .......................lets see if you are right HB
Just for fun what size deal?
Cheers TOB
Well I'm going to be honest COdey I did not pre-sell my allocation, your comment has certainly given me a wake up call thank you.
Did anyone else not do something which now seems so obvious - really appreciate some honesty on this. I had and still do plan to average down again, fortunately I am here for the long term...................don't forget my question. Cheers all and remember CD19 isn't over.
We all know about having a stop loss position - "the first loss is the smallest" etc . Why then did I see the Sp at 1.22 and fall all the way down here without taking any action? I had plenty of opportunities to sell and buy back and I would be in a much better place to enjoy the coming share rise.................must try harder.
