I recently went for a job training day at Stansted doing meet and greet car shunting around etc.
Having spoken to several people who work for the company the general view was September onwards has been the busiest they've known and are expecting huge numbers this summer. Now with China just giving up on Zero Covid and opening up travel this must be good for all the Airlines

I thought the company had already said dividend to resume in 2024.. While I'd love an earlier resumption of dividend payments I'd prefer them to pile into their debt repayment..

On another note my local Bishop's Stortford branch was RAMMED on the run up to Christmas. I think it's all gonna be good news, however we've had this before with the news being good but not as good as the hype/expectations so could see a drop on reporting day

Hello... Was at my usal CF this morning.. Wife has decided to quit smoking so was on way to vape shop..

Must have been 20+ people there about 1130 .. Its a tiny little shop which cant cost too much to run. In comparison Clintons is a huge shop, I'd say near 10 times the size of CFs and only around a dozen people in there with a couple at the tills.

This has now made me think, so although CFs prices are way lower the Clintons, when you take into account the sizes of the stores, numbers of people, staff, cost to run / light / heat etc etc CF must be making more ££s

Just like other memorial days, i think there should be some way to "remember" the Covid pandemic and the people lost and a day should be set aside... Maybe hanging something on the front door, a bit like the pink ribbon thing for the Aids epidemic

Hello.. There are supply issues but this has been the case since the beginning of the year.
I own a lot of CF shares and i often pop past the CF shop when in town ( Bishops Stortford ) I often see minimum of about half a dozen people in there and when i have shopped there in the past found myself queueing behind several people. I have once or twice seen people getting balloons, but not that often. So i would echo STACH.

I would expect CF to have an existing contract with BOC, but in any case i doubt it matters that much

I live in Bishops Stortford.. Almost ALWAYS busy here too..

One question. They were paying off thier debt at a rate of knots recently, why dont they pay it off ?

Hello, my son had the same issue recently with Direct Line . His policy increased a silly amount, by that i mean way too much. So i got on a comparison website and found a deal with another well known insurer for nearly £100 less than the renewal quote so we switched. Incidently my wife and i had the same issue with a different insurer on our Audi. I did the same again and switched after finding a better deal then got my wife to phone the current insurer to cancel the renewal with them. The fella who dealt with her call was very nice and explained if we had phoned them first they could have matched the renewal quote from the other insurer. When asked why they didnt give us the better deal in the first place and he said thats how they make thier money, hoping that people would just accept the renewal quote instead of looking around and switching. He said all the insurers do it..

I am a share holder with direct line, i will use them again, probably next year ( if they give me a good deal of course )
