I agree that the number of young people buying cards is very low. That is also my concern. CF have to target younger people with something attractive. I really feel this is the core reason for lack of sp growth..

I work at a London airport and some of there people are my friends

Just found out large number of redundancies coming.

ALL team leaders from the ticket selling side and most supervisors being made redundant on 31st Dec this year. I work with some, 1 is in her 20s, just bought a house. 1 in his 50s just bought a house. Another just bought a new car. Has 10 months left on his work Visa. Another 3 in thier early 30s with families..

All now no job just after Xmas..

And this from one of thier most profitable sites..

My brother works in a care home in Wales. Following Brexit there was an influx of about a dozen caring staff, mostly female in their 20s and 30s, all Asian ( Indian, Bangladeshi etc). Within no time at all at least half are now pregnant with children that will be born here.

So what happens next, yep you guessed it, various benefit claims will get put in, In-Laws and extended family will suddenly start appearing and instead of a dozen you've now got several times that number here, all legal, many getting their free money off the state..

This is replicated all over the UK and has been for years....

VERY MUCH DOUBT WE WILL BE RELISTED ANYTIME SOON...

I used to ignore Card Factory and used Clintons. But then though "Why am I paying so much for something that gets binned after a week with no other useful function." I went from £30 or so pounds to under a tenner for what are now very nice cards...

Was in my local shop, Bishops Stortford which is a small shop. I counted 18 people in there at about 10am on Weds morning.

I was really impressed with the cards I bought, some of their more "premium?" line.. Really nice cards.. The quality has really improved and these cards were around £1.79

Clintons, hardly anyone in a store that would swallow CARD's shop several times over
