Flatliners: The perennial DYOR was rigourously applied and it's a good hit rate for within six weeks of trying out AIM. I do expect at least another 2 AIM shares to reach the same %20-%25 growth level pretty soon so I can bank them while retaining a 1/5 of the shares but the last four will be dodgy and I will wait them out over the year as they do have potential.

As an aside I still have 10k of IAG 5k bought at the same time as the sold shares at £1.96 the remaining 5K were bought at the various lows during covid at £1.13, £1.16, £1.06, and £1.29.

When you're retired, housebound and bored out of your skull during Covid you have a lot of time on your hands for research. Good luck with your investments but my main thoughts are to spread across sectors in both AIM as a gamble and FTSE250 for reliable steady returns. All done within the wrapper of Stock and shares ISA's.

Bought 5M sold 4M for more than cost and now have a free 1M shares plus another £250, I did same for Empyrean (EME) 2M buy 1.5M sold, Synergia Energy (SYN) buy 5M sold 4M , Vast Resources (VAST) 2M buy 1.5M sold and Versarien (VRS) buy 5M sold 4M sitting on approx £2.3K of free shares and about £900 cash gains. Still sitting on 6 other Aim buys, some lower than buys but that's the gamble. Funding all the aim buys was sale of 5000 AIG bought at 196 sold at 288. Do not care about any spike on CLON they're free shares

Year 2000 colleague left with price around £10 and could not access sharesave account until 2002 lost a whopping amount in value, boo hoo hoo. Sold my 10K MMO2 at £2 and get steady income in Dividends. Bought the shares at £1.38 and £1.69 under sharesave scheme probably one of my best investments in the long run. Except for my wife, so she tells me! :)

But no longer in the medias eye for the IT failures so MMakers to buy cheap before it returns to normalcy 21p-22p. Asset values, contracts income more than Market cap unless they shoot themselves in the foot again only way is up.

90k shares in hand bought in 2023-24 priced between 18p and 22p. Will hold for 2 more years.
