@ThePlunger (I have sid filtered but seems he initiated this? I can see him in the expanded reply view, thanks LSE admin!).
I said longterm I am confident.
My point is simply short term decline is certainly possible, and probable.
Day traders love to buy on bad RNS as usually on AIM the drop is overdone. We see this here with the positive blip.
Now we see the more realistic decline coming in as day traders moved out, and it becomes a more graduated decline in respect to doubt/nerves of holders. Until the next RNS, unless some very excitable buying occurs, it will slip somewhat.
Longterm (6 Months+) I see this moving north of 8p easily.
Actually read my post, rather than assuming because I said it will decline that I think it will decline forever and is a terrible investment. Why are so many people on LSE like this? They just read 1 part, and extrapolate and exxagerate to make out people are ramping/deramping, it is bizarre!
I care little that Woodford is holding here, or at what price. When you have multiple millions/billions, piling in a few million to make up 0.3% of your portfolio is not very impressive.
It's a nice marker to run alongside, but does not make the share infallible or an instant win.
Rememeber - the formulation is the key here, NOT the drug, and the formulation failed to remove gastro side effects on the medical lanza scores - on naproxen.
It may be different for Ibuprofen, but it is the formulation that is designed to stop the issue, not the drug, therefore I think short term there may be some panic or caution selling.
However the company is confident, as am I looking at the data (as someone who works in this industry by the way!) that they will yield positive clinical trials.
I just think for now, some slippage is probable - and has occurred over the last 2-3 trading days.
