It does show that if a top 10 miner wanted to move up the scale to top spot, they could do it almost single handed with SOLG.

Just a continual rise from 21p very steady allowing any and all shares to be collected as we go up. A classic maximising gathering exercise if there are sellers around.

The Rio resource is pretty awful tbh. It will be mined and will make money due to its location and because it's RIO but it wouldn't be mined by a small miner imo. Neither the copper or gold is strong and it's patchy.

Have you seen his tiny fund, its mad a loss almost every single year and is still down from the first year he started it in 2013. At most he might have a few hundred k, so less than some of the PI's here, he's also a friend of sprott. This will make all the difference (not).
SP doing well today, something happened over the weekend IMO, but not sure what. From the Groupo expansion to an updated Cornerstone website.
I've got a feeling that Willem, is probably in the same low liquidity, too many CGP shares hole that Irwin is in, anybody with more than .5% of CGP is pretty screwed.

Rcg it's greed, t hey brought the ground for a few million since then solg have done and financed everything. Along the way cgp have been given £40-50m worth of solg shares, plus various options I am sure if they asked solg would give them another 30-40m for their 15%. It's way more than a 10 fold return for cgp. But since signing on the dotted line they want more..
Solg will have invested 200-300m and might get 2-3bn for it giving solg a 10 fold return.

A PFS includes almost everything a DFS has but to a lesser standard of probability.. A PFS might define things to 25% whereas a DFS all define things to 10 or 15%. To get down from 25% to 10% might require more extensive bulk processing, a refined process flow, actual firm quotes for road building rather than indicative quotes. Etc. For solg a lot of these things in the 10-15% range for the DFS will be included in the PFS because the workstreams are running in parallel. For cascabel their will be very very little difference between PFS and DFS. The DFS will be a document for finance sign off.
I agree that nothing will happened before PFS now, it contains the figures that will form the valuation for any bid. Hence CGPs annoyance with a bid For them prior PFS publication.

The afternoon and US opening time, brings with it the now normal strengthening of the BID to push up the SP. 250k on the bid at 23p.

I agree quady. I don’t believe Newcrest want cgp it’s possible that cgp even sounded Newcrest out and were told no. Hence why they are acting so desperately.
Already being in a JV with Newcrest I’d be amazed if they haven’t floated the idea. If Newcrest wanted to get rid of nick they would be lodging the request themselves as it would carry more clout with the IIs

But as he said the last financing round didn't impact newcrest or BHP really newcrest are ****ed 're Franco coming on board..They were also ****ed by the way with BHP coming on board.lie
BHP won't give a monkey's whether they have 14.8% or 13.6% at this current time. Certainly not enough to endorse a full board replacement et c etc.

I am glad you are such an expert in current financing to be able to say that solg can't finance the capex.
We come the problem with society everyone is entitled to a view, an opinion. But it doesn't mean all opinions are valid..

My only three comments are.
Ironic he says CGP has better liquidity than solg when CGP has an entire 300 shares traded yesterday. That's not right.
He didn't know whether it was a scoping of pfs being issued in the autumn.
He wants CGP to be paid Franco value and then get solg shares and then get solgs rise to Franco valuation.of course he does..

It's froth my CGP imo..They had zero chance of getting the vote before Oct and near zero after that point..I contacted Black Rock after their sack the board announcement as the tsx news release implied that Black Rock might vote with them..Black Rock were not happy having their name in the release and stressed their support for the current board.
It's no surprise that CGP didn't have Black Rock in today's release, indeed they didn't have BHP or newcrest either probably after similar complaints..
The vote and some grand conspiracy is utter BS imo.
CGP have a problem though, if the solg SP goes to say 40p, it values the bid at C$8 or so. If the shares then tumble down its becomes open season on a class action law suite against the CGP board for failing to fulfil their duty.
All I see from CGP is a company in the sh it trying anything to get out of it.

The fact that their volume today so far is a pathetic 300 shares speaks about what the market thinks.

None of yesterday s games this time..quite a few of the 23.5 asks vanished so they didn't really want to sell, hence the higher ut.
The cgp news look s to have been an attempt to destabilise the rise above 23p imo, but it failed.
My guess would be a friendly solg buyer happy to sponge up the shares and take advantage of the attempt to depress..

Looks like the final curtain of the pre arranged 23p to me. Whoever wanted to sell has now finished and market makers have matched it off with buys...
