At approx $60 a barrel margin with brent at $85 then that's approx 660k a day.
258 days till the end of June next year = $170 million.
Add their current cash balance $150 million ?
Bonds left to pay off of $152 million.
What are their decom liabilities as should have $160 million free by then ?
If Brent stays where it is then shouldn't it be quite easy to pay the bonds and still have a fair bit left over or have I left something out?

Even at 10 quid a share that's only an £830 million market cap. For a company making a million a day that's not expensive.
How is Kistos still at only £3.50 a share ?

Amazing what a press article can do. Dec now valued at a quarter of a billion pounds less than it was yesterday.

That article has cost me a fortune today but this is getting seriously tempting now for a good top up.

The way the government is talking about windfall taxes on north sea profits, you'd think there wasn't such a thing as corporation tax. Surely they should be delighted with a profitable north sea as the more they make the more the government gets. Not only that isn't north sea tax a lot higher already? As well as a supplementary charge no profits as well. It really does seem that when it comes to taxes, the government is a bottomless pit.

What I was trying to say is the market is pricing i3e as only making a few dollars a barrel.
If i3e are actually making say 30 dollars a barrel then on 18000boepd they would make more than their current market cap in a year which would be ridiculous. Unless the market really is being that irrational at the moment ?

I've worked it out at only a few dollars a barrel as anything more and the current valuation just looks ridiculously cheap.
Begs the question though, how were they going to make any money several months back when oil and gas were so much cheaper.

Same here. All down except Kistos. Amazed how quickly that has gone up since I got in not long after the company was created.
Took part in the recent placing at £1.55 as well and even that has doubled in a short space of time.

Well someone is making money and paying my dividends so it's an expensive scam for someone to be doing.

Great news today, wanted to average up in the last few days but still waiting on funds coming through.

Considering how much of their production is hedged, the current price is a cracking buy for a good dividend yield.

The higher Brent goes, the more my oil shares drop.
Didn't think it was supposed to work like that or have I got something wrong ?
