The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
On the 4th of April i asked for tips for a new gamble. Applegarth recommended PSL and i invested on the 8th (4 days ago). I have made 110% profit since then and understand PSL is still northbound next week. This is what we should do for one another and what lacks in the world. I had termed PSL a gift from the gods but now i change it to a gift from the gods via Applgarth.
I salute you Applegarth.
The problem is the gambler in me is asking me to stay, and he has a loud voice.
Good point Jarv
Thanks Kajo
What's going on here folks? Bought in here just a few days ago after taking the Debenham bullet. Done 110% already. Gift from the gods.
Not been here too long, can I please ask if this has room to go up further or if this is time to sell?
To be honest, Pearls, Knigelks etc ramping was very logical as Daniel's de-ramping was factual. The problem was the people in between speaking with just instinct. We are all grown ups and made knowing choices knowing it could swing any direction even though we preferred north.
Now it's all in the past, can someone use their wizardry to advise on the next well thought out gamble or at least a good pub to take it out on tonight.
HK Daniel was never considered the bad guy, just the very enlightened guy with a hidden motive.
True, admin acted quite swiftly and responsibly. Good to know they were watching. Wonder if they had money here too and lost with us all. Admin may be in tears as we speak too you know.
Good job LSE team. Am sure you've done what you should and can. Can you please advise sugar plum to send us a message. Am thinking sugarplum may be female by the way, not that it matters.
It's hard to tell but SPF mentioned visiting Watford Debenham and Oxford street Debenham in October 2018.
What can I say, it's a gamble and will be a win or a loss soon. Whatever the case, the torture should end soon. Taking too much of people's time monitoring this.
The playing field was different when he offered 5p. £200m changed it all. Am thinking, what MA wants the most is to be CEO as he believes he can turn DEB around and needs to save his investment. What creditors want the most is to secure their money. Who can best secure this more than the one who has the most to lose.
Am not a proffessional and only using logic and common sense. Can the people who know better explain why this may not be the case please.
Am starting to think MA is making a deal with the creditors instead. Since they control DEB, a deal acceptable to them with condition being MA as CEO should make them oust BoD. Surely they will trust MA's leadership more than the BoD's even it's for the mere fact that he is the most invested.
Is this even possible?
Why Daniel, why not tell us where to ho next? Surely you must know good stuff and you know we won't hold it against you if it fails.
The beer meanwhile, we should do that yelling.
Topman Applegarth
Being so close to the possible end of the road, has anyone identified any new penny gambling stocks? Hayd seems to have a lot cooking but I don't know if they'll get off the cooker anytime soon.
I respect you and your resolve Warik,i respect Daniel and his knowledge. If you guys will now sheath your swords, it'll help. The misery and tension associated with this is enough. We should all have a beer soon as winners or losers as in a few days this battle would have been won and lost.
lol@Daniel
Actually Daniel although you have a lot of knowledge which we appreciate, you had for a while stopped giving a balanced opinion and rather telling people how idiotic they are. Atleast so it seemed. Its a bit like betting on a relegation threatened team to beat a mid table team owing to their resolve not to be relegated, something which happens all the time. And you have someone telling you repeatedly how much of a mistake it is forgetting you knew the score before playing.
Folks on here knew it was a gamble and to be honest it was a calculated one as just 2 months ago BoD wasn't painting the sort of picture they suddenly started painting. Folks have money here and while they know they may lose it, they hope to win. The result will be what it will be.
Telling them continuously how they've lost it all is bound to drive people crazy and to be honest you were more balanced initially but now almost completely negative.
I am a bit removed and not angered but I can understand the frustration.
lol@ Warik
For all those saying they're now more certain than ever that this will be doom, can anyone tell me what has changed apart from a few days passing? Nothing has materially changed. No new info. The situation stays same.
While I agree everyone is free to post what they see fit, I think we can optimise this board if people speak more with substance than instinct.
