Exactly Suzy, proportional representation leads to disproportional representation.
You wouldn't get a 4% party deciding national issues if they had a first past the post system.
I know you support PR being a Lib Dims supporter it's the only way they can get a voice.
A coalition government imo, is usually a recipe for disaster except in certain circumstances.
Just look at the history and list of coalitions throughout Europe and what it's lead to. Most are just content to pay lip service to the electorate, take the money and most sadly of all take their orders from Brussels.
This green 4% was a last desperate inclusion to form a government after 9 months of inactivity and like I said,
deals, backstage bickering with the result that sod all happens.
Europe's on the brink of recession the ECB have run out of options, with debt piling up.
The greens want to spend billions and billions of Euro's but in Sweden they are holding the major party to ransom over granting mining licence's.
They don't want progress, they want us all back in loin cloths.
People vote for the party they want, not something watered down.
PR, you can keep it.
