Snige, when this disaster started unfurling the oppositions stance was predictable, 'this is the result of 10 years of austerity.'
No country's health service is going to stockpile excess equipment/supplies for what, oh yeah just in case.
The way Labour started here, scoring political points, it seems they may have changed their mind somewhat.
But seriously did you expect past government's to store ventilators and testing kits for, say, the last 20 years just in case.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
Why not build a few hundred IC Units and have a few thousand fully trained nurses and doctors on standby just in case.
A reminder, Labour are still in disarray and are not an effective opposition, as I said they still haven't elected a new leader yet.
If they get themselves sorted perhaps they can reform and have a coherent policy themselves, until then it's all hindsight.
