The global players within the future biofuel industry is building momentum and QED are partnered with some major players within this sector that can provide a wide range of feedstock for future biomsar variants including from waste plastic via the Licela Cat HTR process. Biofuel demand growth shifts to aviation and maritime fuels by 2030

The share of biofuels in total liquid fuel transport demand expands from 5.6% in 2023 to 6.4% in 2030 (on a volume basis) to reach 215 billion litres a year (5.7 EJ) by 2030 in the main case. This growth is concentrated in the United States, Europe, Brazil, Indonesia and India, which together account for 85%. These regions are not only maintaining but, in many cases, strengthening their mandates, GHG intensity targets and financial incentives to support biofuel adoption. Globally, road biofuel demand expands by 27 billion litres (0.8 EJ) and aviation and maritime fuel use increases nearly 9 billion litres (0.3 EJ).

However, by 2030, aviation and shipping are responsible for more than 75% of new biofuel demand. Average annual consumption in these sectors expands 30% between 2023 and 2030 to meet targets in North America, Europe and Japan. It's aim you could invest in 100 companies and if yr lucky one or two might make you enough to balance out the losses from the other 98. Seems to me like you don't understand the market yr invested in lt alone the company itself.

Qed are so much more than this one contract. The fuels being developed for and alongside this trial have been undergoing lab testing and refinement. To simply think that progress is only measured in terms of MSc shows yr either not understanding the nature of the company or have an alterior motive in posting negative material. Who cares. If they make it they make it. It's AIM, you might as well put yr money on a coin toss for every single company on it. If it's too stressful for you stick to boring ftse100 stocks.

Does this mean that 50% vested in 2024 and therefore the next lots are due aug 25 depending on them meeting performance progress targets?

Any price sensitive news would have to be released wether it's Friday or not. bad news is bad news no matter what day. The tightening of the spread makes little difference but I did manage to buy a few more shares today at 4p compared to 4.2p last week. Every little helps so they say.

As far as I can tell the agreement with Nouryon for their chemical component runs out in October. Can anyone tell me if this is correct or if it has been updated already?

Any views on what point they must issue an end if the poc trials dont start in Q2. I mean by now they would surely be aware if they were or not so would have to issue an rns to say they're delayed by now.?

Which agreement are you referring to? As far as I have read everything is place for poc trial. Currently a draft commercial agreement in place which will be negotiated further once testing is completed.

SC, No offence but im not certain that "sort of mid May" constitutes material information. Sounds way too loose to me to be a definitive. They might well have been targeting mid May but we all know timescales slip. Q2 is what I infer as the definitive target from the marine update that would constitute any delays being rns able. If the POC has started then i don't expect an rns as this is what was already stated and doesn't have anything extra to add regarding financial implications. Just because they have a history of delays doesn't mean when they are on schedule they need to rns it. I also don't suspect any gagging or black outs as there isn't anything to report yet. you said it yourself we weren't notified of much during the Maersk trials and only then way after they had already started. Each to their own opinion of course.

Can't see why an rns is needed unless it's not in q2. We've been told in previous rns what the protocol is for the poc and trials and that they would report back once poc complete and they are at the point of concluding commercial agreement on the future supply of the fuel. therefore it's my understanding that the poc trials could easily begin without a special rns to say that they have begun. I'd expect one if they don't start q2 or if they are completed. No need for one to say that they are doing what said they would. I mean I'd would be unlike qed to be on schedule but not against any financial rules relating to disclosure.

SC I'm inclined to agree with your comments regarding rns's. I don't expect one unless the trials don't start q2, the POC is completed or MSC are blown away and don't want to wait and sign the commercial agreement anyways.
