Anyone else see a rise coming before the weekend?

Not sure i would want to be out of this share with a long weekend on the horizon... some big movies being released across the age groups. I think next Tuesday will see the share go back over a quid.

Getting close to the bank holiday weekend... I work in E-Commerce and i see a lot less people shopping online.. Everyone is out doing things they couldn't do last year.

I foresee lots of sells coming soon.

IMO the roller-coaster is going to sit around 5.80-90 for a while... Royal Mail have a long road ahead to get anywhere near 8.00.

I think it is more likely to drop with big investors cashing in, and it will rise again closer to the divi payout.... short of that, i think money is better in other stocks

Sold the lot at £5.80. Its been a long journey with RM. I bought more at £2.40 last year, so I have done well.

Personally I think that £8.00 will be a long long road with many curves along the way. I even think £6.00 is pushing your luck with this one... for now I'm out... GLA

And the other half of their profits was due to covid lockdowns and everyone buying online. Yes, it's given Royal Mail an opportunity it would never have otherwise had. It can now use this money to invest in the future, but you have to realise that without the effects of the last 12 months, Royal mail was a company that had been left by previous governments with little to no investment and no control of postage prices. None of which helped them get ridden over by the like of DPD, UPS etc etc.

There was always a future for Royal mail, but now they can hopfully bring that positivity forward by 5yrs.... only time will tell if they use the money wisely...

Previous management being the government who ddidn't bother investing in RM's mail centres is the reason they are behind the times in the parcels sector.
