The competition is NOT strong.... have you seen half the garbage movies that Amazon, Netflix bring out? There is no way they could compete with the big studios.... how much would Netflix need to pay for a movie like the Matrix? 300-400 million? And that's just one film.

And yeah, Amazon might own MGM, but how stupid would they be to put the new bond film on Prime? NO WAY would they make as much money from new Amazon subscribers as they would from a theatrical release...

Movies will be around for a lot longer to come.

It may take till next year to see them back to full capacity... but they are here and here to stay

If the price drops, then its going to be those who bought in at 24p that are selling, or those who just cant be bothered anymore and can afford to take the financial hit.

Hold strong folks... there is still some big players with shares here.

This share will probably drop today, but the future (fingers crossed) looks bright for Cine.

Saying that.... i am tempted to buy more on the drop, but with Covid not 100% out of the way, I would be more likely to wait until after the winter months to see what Boris does with Lockdowns, Booster Vacines, Rising Covid cases etc.

Maybe by the beginning of next year, if the price is still low, this could be worth buying more. But for now its too risky to buy more.

So i'm going to hold what i have, and see what the next 6 months hold.

Onwards and upwards folks

Not Everyone owns a Home PC, and certainly not everyone downloads movies (or would even know where to start).

Yes, downloads affect cinemas, but its not exactly 100% of people doing it.

I got a divi payout with lloyds Shares I bought Direct with Lloyds, but shares I bought through a broker I ain't had a divi (yet) or is that not coming?

The Motley Fool are more of a long term investment company... a lot of their thoughts and predictions are based on long term investments for people looking at an income or pension portfolio.

They are not wrong in what they say (sometimes), they are just different to many on here with different ways of looking to trade a share.

When Inchinnan opens back up, that when this will rise... hold for another week and buy in the dips :)

I know roughly how shorts work, but surely they would need to put a price where that share would drop to before they would get their payout?

And i would expect that price to be near the very bottom... like 20p ?? Not 50p?

Who decides what the short price is?

Problem with Motley Fool is they base their opinions on long term (years and years) strategies. Not month to month or even one year strategy.

I wouldn't say their opinions are wrong, just different to many strategies that most of us have on here.

I think the price is going to sit here until Q4. Shorters might push it down further... but I'm holding long
