I am with you on a change of mood Aug. Lets find our balls, we have a concession. How many slaps in the face should you you take in public without finding the courage to throw a few back. This asset is worth having for any of the big boys so let's start putting it about and if the Swedes don't want it so be it.
Excellent suggestion Aug. Also if by June we still have no decision from the prioritising government, depending what comes out of the investigation will clearly give all parties the likely outcome of any legal proceedings.
Pocko I wouldn't expect him to look any different when interviewed. Negotiations to sell and mine is different than waiting forever on a decision for concession.
We can all only speculate what is happening behind the scenes but I think everything we have witnessed to date is part of negotiations and gamesmanship. The obvious choice as stated by Budge is for LKAB to take this on but at what price. My question is if and when the license is granted who else could be in the frame to progress this forward and if it is someone other than LKAB what cooperation will they get from a Swedish government holding all the strings. I think Budge is playing them at their own game in that the longer it continues the more damaging it is becoming for the Swedish government with the wider mining sector looking on. After all this is big money and a world class asset.
So does anybody remember 5, 6 or was it 50 or 60 years ago my memory has faded since being involved with this share, in the days of Sir Clive, Chinese looking at us? Nothing came of it at the time.
I am all for it Suzy the more the better. I am just wondering whether it is protocol or are we heading towards a finnish line with regards to Swedish ownership.
I am surmising that the amount of shares that is in swedish possession is of more significance than purely general interest. Why the need to constantly update via a RNS?
