RE: SIPP21 May 2018 13:32
Thank you all for your help regarding SIPP , I Retired at 52, but that was due to having a stroke which i am fully recovered from apart from the odd bout of fatigue, But it could be a lot worse. I did take my company pension last year at 55, But most is tied up with standard life, i agree with leaving the 25% until i need it and i know that i would use buy shares with the money and like i said, i know how easy it is to loose money after been 17% up within 3 weeks trading Carphone warehouse and then 15% down after a few bad choice decisions, Boo was one of them at 212 when i first bought in January, But after riding the Boo storm, i am now back up to 15% , But its a real wake up call loosing 15% or should i say 32% drop from 17% profit. I think if i do go down the route of SIPP, It will be with FT 100 that gives a decent dividend. Once again, Thank you for your help
