Columbus Energy Resources (CERP LN) has provided an update and is
continuing to make strong progress in combination with Predator Oil & Gas
Limited (PRD LN) to advance the CO2 pilot project on the Inniss-Trinity field.
CERP’s wholly owned subsidiary Fram Exploration (Trinidad) Ltd (FRAM) is
operator of the Inniss-Trinity field and workover operations at the At-5X well
have now been completed in preparation for CO2 injection and subsequent
enhanced oil production.

A target interval of reservoir section has been identified and has been
successfully isolated from the deeper reservoirs using a cast iron bridge plug.
This means that the preferred and most efficient methodology which involves
injecting CO2 into isolated intervals of reservoir sands can be used.

The use of CO2 for enhanced oil recovery in this programme will enable CERP
and PRD to understand the potential not only at Inniss-Trinity but also on
similarly suitable fields in Trinidad.

With the programme fully funded by PRD we continue to believe that this structure offers CERP a very attractive risk reward profile and provides a further potential catalyst for the shares in addition to the upcoming drilling programme on the South West Peninsula.

We reiterate our Buy recommendation and 21.6p target price.

(Alliance News) - Predator Oil & Gas Holdings PLC on Thursday reported completion of workover operations at the Inniss-Trinity field, onshore Trinidad.

Fram Exploration Trinidad Ltd, the operator of the Inniss-Trinity field and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Columbus Energy Resources PLC, has completed operations to survey downhole the AT-5X well in preparation for future CO2 injection and enhanced oil production, Predator said.

The exploration company said its downhole completion design to potentially achieve optimum efficiency for CO2 EOR injection by isolating specific reservoir sands was determined as being operationally viable.

In preparation for CO2 EOR operations, a key interval of reservoir section chosen for the first CO2 injectivity test was successfully isolated from the deeper reservoirs with the setting of a cast iron bridge plug.

The workover rig will now move on to survey the AT-4 well, Predator said.

"We are pleased that the workover of AT-5X has been successfully completed and that the first stage of the operational strategy for focussed CO2 injection has been proven to be possible to implement in old producing wells," said Predator Chief Executive Paul Griffiths.

"This strategy is unique in terms of what has previously been attempted using C02 in Trinidad and we are excited about the possibilities that lie ahead," added Griffiths.

Predator shares were trading 6.5% higher in London on Thursday at 4.95 pence each.

Always a risk on Trading Bakingmental, I guess i have lost more by not trading shares but that's the risk i am willing to take. In a ideal world, if no one traded the stock, the SP would be massive, Thats what long term holders want, but we know thats not possible due to traders.
Don't get me wrong, I do trade FT350 stocks , buy cheap and sell at 20% profit if i can and repeat. Check out Doms, Just bought in on a low and if you look at the last 12 months trends, you will see why its a good to trade Doms.

This is a busy time for CERP, People tend to forget that they have the CO2 project, well it looks like we are starting to move forward.

Regards my 90p, I do not live in dream land, I have no idea on what the share price will be, I just pulled a figure out of the air, no one on these boards can ever put a figure on bids share price next week, next Month, next year, people saying 50p on recent news, my point is, I am not going to sell any shares because I will live to regret selling, I aim to get the max out of the share price, it's an investment

Razel , so far this week, I have had 1 bad day out of the 3, Yesterday was really bad and with Prd dropping like it did wiped out gains from Bids.
WMH is looking better now.
I hold 15 different stocks, only 2 in profit, but i know that the rest will come good ,in TIME ,I am Kicking myself for not buying Sainsburys last week, i would be 10% up now on that one but Dons is looking good.

At the moment i am over a bagger, If i take half out now and in 2 years the price is sitting at 90p, I will be kicking myself for selling half and thinking about the money that i could have had, at the moment, i don't need the money, so i am letting it ride. Yes i could have sold and bought back cheaper, But that's day trading and that's not for me
