We need to look to the half year report to understand the potential of this share and the future business model. There are many drivers to this share
- JV with one of the leading AI technology partners in the world;
- new banking licenses;
- institutional fund raising;
- trading update - the H1 report indicated profitability in Q1 2022. The Tintra family office is well placed for Tintra plc to provide services to the uhnw market
The mms do not want you to know their hand, so you can’t trust trade analysis religiously
Hi 001,
They make the market by offering a higher price to buy and a lower price to sell. With aim shares, this can be very different from a fair valuation, as it is based on a small number of transactions and volume of shares
Looks like equilibrium in the share price. A few sells could tilt the price lower as mms will try to buy shares from sales as cheap as they can and they know that if they push the price down on a sale, this sometimes panics other sellers to offload some shares and the mms will push the price in the direction that enables them to buy low and sell high. The mms moves are for them to make profit and this can be totally divorced from underlying valuations. But I see this share as a coiled spring and as the milestones are delivered, tnt is getting closer to a business that will be able to deliver profitable services to an under served sector. How much could such a business be worth? Anybody’s guess, but Richard and his team will have a strategy and a long term plan that will show the potential value and it is this that the different round investors will buy into?
My low valuation will start at £100m - yes there will be new equity and dilution. The ultimate prize could be substantially higher then this.
Today’s RNS sets out clearly how the capital raising fits into the roadmap to deliver the vision. My understanding is as follows:
Tintra and Richard Shearer have a deep understanding of the UHNW individuals in the countries they operate in, the issues and the gaps in the market.
They have technological solutions and a plan how to fill this gap and for Tintra to become the provider of choice. They have first mover advantage and are in a great position to develop significant shareholder value over the coming years. As Richard explained the valuation model is based on milestones achieved and financing is linked.
Whilst we only can see parts of the roadmap, I am confident that the Tintra team know where they are going and how they are going to get there.
The aim valuation is driven by short term trading by the mms. At certain times, they lead the market up and then down - so they sell high and buy low. This situation is different and tnt should form part of any long term portfolio. I believe that there will be serious gains along this journey
In my view, tnt will realize some significant gains as the stock price catches up with developments in coming quarters. Only way to play this is to remain long
Interim results should be interesting. There may be some exceptional costs re the restructuring & disposal of legal business. From memory, I think the continuing payments business achieved £350k of revenue last year, but the compounding and growth metrics suggests that this revenue should have been loaded towards the back end of the year. Further growth in metrics was reported in the first weeks of the current year. So my crystal ball says between about 600k from the payment business in the first half. This may be conservative if the growth metrics continued at the same rate.
Future gain will be on the disposal of the lottery business in H2.
Thanks 001
A very positive move - US investors are more sophisticated in how they look at developing tech companies. Over time, US investors will be the main movers for the share price
Surprised that today’s announcement has gone under the radar
Availability of trading in Tintra shares is a major milestone in Tintra’s development is massive.
Beat me to it
Good to see the market starting to look at Tintra plc and starting to buy into the vision
Only just started for me - I want the legs and not just the toes - if you know what I mean
Yes the pink sheets will be like being promoted - US investors on the whole are more savvy and buy into developing stories and recognize and value potential.
The late transaction of 12k shares looks like a buy
Very positive close after RNS
A big vision being well executed so far. US investors will snap this up, once they get the opportunity
