Gyr1, even if supermarkets are experiencing high depends, it is in no way enough to cover the business it has lost with all other shops closed.

I think people are forgetting ESL don't just delivery Food and Medicine, they also deliver the likes of electronics and clothing which has been heavily impacted due to this COVID-19 Situation.

Does anyone know before the COVID situation how much of Eddie Stobarts deliveries were non essential goods.

All non essentials industries such as clothing etc will be severely impacted from the Lockdown announced yesterday. Before Yesterday I would have agreed with you its a great business. The effect of that will be felt soon.

People are so deluded thinking just because supermarkets are having increased deliveries this shares the one to buy. Seem to think they have forgotten about all the non essential industries which are closed who are having less goods transported.

I have a feeling India will never extradite him,
1. He is a close ally of Current Indian Prime minister due to his support of the disputed Kashmir Region.
2. Anti Muslim sentiment has grown a lot in India over the last couple of years, they'll probably give him another award for screwing over the arabs.

Only thing I could see happening is the UAE Government take over his personal assets which are still in the UAE.

As a whole it shows the UAE is an unsafe place to invest in. Any negative news will impact any foreign investment. If they wanted to stop this from spiralling they would have reacted sooner or later.
