Highlights:

Creation of the Partnership Company with Clontarf Energy plc

On February 21 2024, the Company formed the certain partnership company as a Nevada LLC as required in accordance with the Partnership Agreement signed March 27, 2023, between the Company and the UK AIM listed company Clontarf Energy plc (“Clontarf”). The new LLC is the 50:50 joint venture between the Company and Clontarf that will be the vehicle for the proposed deployment of the Company’s iTDE Technology in Bolivia.

On March 4 2024, Clontarf submitted the qualification materials for the partnership to the “Pública Nacional Estratégica Yacimientos de Litio Bolivianos” (the ‘National Strategic Public Company of Bolivian Lithium Deposits’ or “YLB”) in relation to the Call for Bids (“convocatoria”) for the seven priority salares (salt pans) in Southern Bolivia. Under the Partnership Agreement it is Clontarf’s responsibility to submit such bids on behalf of the partnership LLC.

On May 14, 2024, the YLB confirmed Clontarf in the partnership with the Company as one of the twenty-one approved companies moving into phase three of the ‘convocatoria’ process, which consists of five phases. While phase two focused extensively on evaluating state-of-the-art lithium extraction technologies, particularly emerging direct lithium extraction methods, phase three will involve assessing the financial capacity of the partnership with Clontarf. In this respect, Clontarf, responding to a recommendation of the European Commission, announced it had expanded its ‘Team Europe’ partnership to include financing and offtake partners representing key OEM manufacturers in the German Mittelstand.

Following Phase 3, the remaining two planned phases of the ‘convocatoria’ process are: Phase 4, wherein a detailed assessment will be carried out by YLB of extraction technology maturity and financial capacity; and finally, in Phase 5 the negotiation and signing of contracts will take place, for an initial exploitation phase. There remains a certain amount of uncertainty as the 2017 Bolivian Lithium Law is expected to be revised shortly.

The ‘convocatoria’ process will classify bids into ‘streams’ or categories dependent on readiness. Stream 1 comprises bids with existing operating direct lithium extraction (“DLE”) plants. Three 3 Chinese companies, and one Italian water purification company qualify for this category. The Company believes its CPiTDE system will fall into this category, as a stream 2 technology. This encompasses plants ready for production testing in 2025. Streams 3 and 4 comprise immature DLE technology or that still are under development and laboratory-stage processes, respectively.

You are completely entitled to your opinion. Neither you nor I can prove or disprove Silverfoxchef’s holding, in fact it is against the regs of LSE to disclose holdings. So I would urge you, and any other investor to look at FACTS, then make up your mind about who is calling this correctly, or at least offering a more objective view point. I am no longer invested here, and I am not shorting, so I have nothing to gain personally from expressing my concerns. I make no apology if I can help any unsuspecting new investors avoid expensive mistakes, mistakes that are often influenced by bad actors.

Once a significant investor in Kodal I’ve been expressing growing doubts for several months, started reducing my position and banking good profit before finally closing out. I was warning other investors of the potential storm brewing . It’s all there in my posts. And it’s playing out pretty much as I thought it might .

While others have either now seen their profit diminish , or worse seen their losses grow , my Kodal profit has been growing elsewhere, and significantly so.

The likes of Silverfoxchef and myself, and anyone else with a pragmatic, objective view of Kodal, have been constantly lambasted by the bulletin “bully boys” such as Mercedesman and Laverda (well, thats how they think they come across, in reality I am just laughing at them) . They come across as complete ignoramuses, even BFD this evening can’t grasp the context of the post by Ivenoidea. It would be laughable if some investors weren’t blindly following their incessant uber-positive posts.

Silverfoxchef has called it absolutely right - this is another step in the squeeze by KMUK’s “partner”. You have to be blind not to see what is playing out here,. I have raised my concerns and observations several times only for the likes of Lavatory and Merde to try and shout me down. Shame on you. You are costing some investors dear.

@realitychap - It appears from your post that you don’t understand the methodology behind some, not all, technical trading.

Technical analysis views investor attitudes and behavior (i.e., the market's psychological aspects) as the biggest movers of securities prices over time. And given the often-cyclical nature of trading patterns, they're also key indicators of how prices will move and change in the future.

While charts look very mathematical, they're really based on plotting and giving a visual representation to investor emotion and behaviour, and market psychology, depicting moves in prices over time.

Plenty of info on the web for those wanting to be appropriately informed on what Technical Analysis actually is, including on Investopedia.

There’s a lot more to it than mere “mumbo jumbo” as some pure fundamentalists may claim, and is an essential

component of my investor tool kit.

@bigeye - absolutely. My word salad wasn’t clear but that’s what I meant when I said “HXC or a subsequent buyer”.

@winchpete - fair comment. All I would say is that if hydrogen becomes the focus for investors looking for the next boom sector (as lithium was a couple of years ago) , buying pressures increases, and the company surprise the market with some positive news on a partner sooner then some may expect, then a short squeeze is very possible. It doesn’t take much for a new wave of interest to fundamentally impact things .

Two companies are currently shorting this share with Helikon on a 3.72% short position. If they had closed their positions a couple of days ago they would have benefited from the bizarre price action over the last few months where the spread was incredibly volatile, and where buys appeared to outweigh sells on the majority of trading days, often significantly so. It was almost as if the market was helping them make money against normal market forces. As if.

I sincerely hope lots of investors see the potential here to ride the sustainable energy wave, keep buying lots of shares, and holders have “diamond hands”.

Regardless of any fundamentals, technical,h this is looking like a classic reversal of the recent downtrend, and corroborates my view that we saw the bottom earlier this month. My top up was well timed. I’m pretty sure we will see shorts closing in the very near future. Hang on to those shares, keep buying if you see it’s the right investment for you, and let’s SQUEEZE the shorting bar stewards. Would be lovely to see them get completely ducked over by this.

Apart from the recent, significant breach of their contract with Arcadia, HXC seem to have a previous track record of multiple similar incidents which have necessitated legal action by the other party. In Namibia alone there are 7 actions reported since 2014, not including Arcadia’s and Kazera’s action:

Why wasn’t this track record picked up during due diligence, and if it was, I wonder what the thinking was in respect to the risk of a default. Getting a favourable ruling is one thing, actually enforcing it is another, especially when it comes to money. HXC have paid around $5m so far (think that’s right) and will likely lose that, but that could be offset by any production revenues over the last year or so. Perhaps they are using aggressive tactics to maintain ownership without paying in full for as long as they can (whatever the outcome of arbitration) or they want out and are prepared to cut their losses.

It’s a shame that this is a spanner in the works but on the upside it has funded the development at Wavisklop and Perdevlei which are now revenue generating, with potential “transformational” (sorry, had to get that word in at least once!) scaleability.

It’s difficult to get any other sources of information on the progress of the arbitration, but hopefully we will get news very soon to put that to bed, hopefully bank some cash (either from HXC or a subsequent buyer) and focus on getting our HMS and Diamond operations at maximum production as quickly as possible.

I am optimistic (but with the experience to know nothing is a dead cert) that this is coming good. IF we do a get a 10x, 20x or even 30x increase in the share price over the coming months/ next year then I’ll be making a trip down to SA to take Dennis and his team out for a few drinks.

Having lost my source of income at the end of last year and now unable to work due to multiple cancer-related disabilities, I would really like my pension pot to get a boost in the near term so that I can cash in, retire and live my best life while I am still fit enough (and alive!) to do so. An investor party in sunny South Africa at the end of the year/early next year (our winter ☔️, their summer ☀️) could be a real blast if anyone else is interested …. In my view, sounds like things are progressing, maybe not as fast as first expected, but still moving forward. I am encouraged by the fact that DLE is Next ChemX’s focus.

We could be looking at pilot plant operational Q3 (ie anytime from July to September, and then readiness for commercial operations in Q1 2026. With the containerised, scalable technology solution, this may lead to a significant rerate IF all the ducks line up, and all parties are successful in their responsibilities. Clontarf are the negotiators with YLB , and I assume all other business partners including financial (EU) partners and off-takers.

Also, I can see no evidence of recent large shareholders (who will be closer to the action than we will ever be) disposing of stock.

For these reasons, I think we are edging closer to a positive outcome… fingers crossed, heh?
