The issue is it take a min of 9months to plan say a 6week production which could be stopped at any point. Unlike pubs bars coffee shops it involves huge teams of people. It is unfair to assume we can take on testing and just reopen or close at short notice. The theatres closed a week before Boris made it compulsory for bars etc. I then caught covid from my kid who cought it at school in Nov last year spent 3 months recovering. Our audiences want ventilation clean air and masks.

No Chance on Nightclubs or Theatre's . I own a theatre we are being asked to send a test to a customer with there tickets then process the result withing three days, refund the ticket if positive using a device that give 30% false positive (loose the money), Then you have an empty seat you cannot sell it's bonkers. It like a glass with no bottom!! I have spent thousands on new ventilation, PPE and lost 18months income all we need is this mask!!!!

So has anyone tried to breath in a 5ply it is almost impossible I have had covid and it bloody awful 16 weeks of not breathing!!. A four ply mask is cheaper it works and the tech has so many other possibilities. I was in at the start so please support this World beating product it is about all the UK can offer the World at the moment

it would take 83 hours to process the last person in the q if you operated 6 stations at 15 mins to get the result. The test needs to be less than a minute

perhaps if you worked in the industry you would understand that a venue with 2000 capacity would spend more time testing than the actual event time as well as paying for the test !!!
