For all the digs on here about DB and leaked placings, you cannot discount the fact that his investment and subsequent increase in percentage in this asset has taken the company to profitability. And money makes money which will in due course will be seen as Wressle continues to produce. There seems no sign of the oil decreasing or water invasion after hundreds of thousand of barrels of oil extracted under free flow. I think we could see a pretty mind blowing reserves report in the next month or so and everyone will realise why it has taken Gaffney Cline so long to produce. All this tosh about DB not liking the content and purposely delaying it is exactly that, tosh and suggestions that the well will quickly deplete is more of the same. Exciting times ahead and the SP will soon begin to reflect that.

wherever the future lies, the risks are far outweighed by the rewards. To be invested now in a company with this much cash, income and little chance of any fund raising, the SP has to start moving northwards. Lots of news still to come this year, Union Jack will soon be the darling of AIM imo.

make Union Jack a strong investment case provided some patience is exercised. And before anyone harps on about the orevious years, my starting point is from this year on.

The past years have been all about buying into assets, raising funds to do so resulting in year on year dilution, planning delays, the dreaded leaks etc.

BUT, it cannot be denied we have entered inti a new era, a new unexperienced phase of revenue generation, profitability, a strong cash balance and no debt. This isn't that common on AIM and it does set Union Jack apart from most of its peers.

Wressle right now is the golden goose. Producing 750 bopd, with Union Jack receiving 40% of the revenue, other zones to be targeted and potential monetisation of the gas will provide a substantial monthly return for the company, ensuring no further need for fundraising. This makes it attractive, it makes it far more likely that it would be a long term hold. It also makes it likely that an institution would be attracted, moreso if a dividend is announced. West Newton remains an unknown, although it appears the chance of success has increased with the results of lab testing and more details are due at any time from a CPR to be released in the third quarter. My opinion is that Rathlin will drill one well, flow it commercially and sell to the highest bidder. Union Jack's 16.66% will return a major cash sum if this happens. Biscathorpe was always the 'Jewel in the Crown' and my belief if the planning refusal is overturned, or the council offer no case in order to save substantial costs, which could well be a possibility due to the way the energy crisis is panning out and the climate 'scam' is now being unveiled, this will be a relatively cheap operation to bring the well online to commercial standards. 2022/3 has a lot to offer investors and this share price will not be where it is by year end.
