As far as institutional investment goes, I'd hope to see ETFs taking an interest in us.

And as you know, I disagree that many IIs want a bite just yet. But once we are further derisked and perhaps have an income closer to 200m per annum they may start taking an interest!

I'm not saying a few may not be trying to build a position already. When I say bigger players I mean institutional investors, looking to build tr1 reportable stakes in the company, and perhaps more HNW individuals too. The former will need to see more success before committing funds, of that I'm sure.

I think the MMs are just facilitating buys and sells as they always do. And at the moment there are slightly more sellers than buyers. No grand conspiracy or games being played to peg us to 6p. Until we've got permits nothing will change. We need to prove the paradox up, and get some actual production from it before the bigger players are going to take us seriously. I have no doubt they are keeping a close eye on us! We've broken away from the old lows of 3.75-4.2p for now, the recent news flow has been enough to keep a few new investors on board. Our new low is around 5-5.8p depending on traders it seems, rinse and repeat. As soon as we have permits in hand and are drilling, those traders may start taking mid to long term investments here as a multi bagger may begin to form, it would be foolish to sell on news, when next news could be the following day. I truly think we will fly through 7p once the show is finally on the road, and those that sell hoping to buy back lower will inevitably loose. I keep saying it, but juat a little more patience is needed.

Whilst the BLM I'd a govt body, they are not tied to the arm of the Govt that are supporting us I don't believe. So a separate entity, and one that is notoriously slow and inefficient at issuing permits.

We can flow for test purposes but not for full production....because of the gas...the test will be very constricted. We needed a way to handle the enormous amount of gas as you know, queue recently acquired gas processing facility. I feel like a broken record answering the same questions made by the same people trying to administer an overly negative spin. Getting rather boring but I won't let it wash without a counter.

Completely Disagree SCE2. What in today's RNS suggests nothing has progressed? Nothing but progress as far as I can read....
Just the notoriously slow BLM holding up our permits, which is an industry wide problem and has been for some time.

Bliss, we have already had one well test at 16-2, we must have flared then too. I'd imagine it's off-set by buying carbon credits or some such. A certain amount of flaring can be permitted when testing I believe.

BTW I base 10p on 16-2 extended test being a success. 36-2 and 36-3 at least part way drilled, and perhaps the kirkwood well also being underway with some degree of success.

Agree Morph, we won't see more people taking medium to long positions until the drills are underway. If successful, then perhaps we will see some more institutional investors joining the share register. I'll be surprised and a little disappointed if we don't get to at least 10p by year end.

I'd tend to disagree IG as we purchased another 7 non op wells a few months ago with proceeds from the Williston.

Considering our cash flow from existing non ops I highly doubt that IG. No need at all.

I disagree that we will see a further drop, the investment case here just got even stronger. Yes annoying that we are still waiting for permits. But we now know that when they do land we are drilling 2 wells, not one. Until recently we all believed it to be just 36-2 to begin with. I'd imagine the Kirkwood well will also commence before year end, in which we have a 50 percent interest. And equipment is being put in place for 16-2 to start it's extended test by end of November, hopefully sooner. Exciting stuff! I think this is going to move really quickly once the permits have landed and contracts have been awarded!

Agree Argyle. The link with kirkwood is pretty huge IMHO. All good news, just annoying regarding the permits. I do agree agree with Papaduke though. CH needs to stop setting time lines until absolutely certain. He must have been pretty sure. So I'd assume we will get permits by early November. And should be able to spud shortly there after. We could still be well on the way to having three producing wells in the paradox by December, potentially 4 if the kirkwood operated well goes ahead soon too! Still all to play for here and should make for an action packed November and December.

Overall very good news. 16-2 to come online mid November. So those suggesting gear on site were correct! Well pads for 36-2 and 3 in place. To be drilled in parallel when the ruddy permits arrive. Webinar postponed. It appears CH expected to have permits in hand and have awarded a rig contract by now. Join me in cursing the BLM!

Agree Northern. I'd hoped that by admitting my wrongs we could move past this. Setanta, stay classy mate. RB, same as, you are a good poster here. We don't need to revert to kak slinging, leave that to the chimps at the zoo. All will come good here. I am very optimistic for next week, buckle up, I think things are about to get very interesting.

Would agree IG. There are still two possible days for the 36-2 permit to land. I'm looking forward to having a better understanding as to how long the gas works and pipe line refurb will take. This will be of utmost importance for bringing 16-2 into full production, and the other wells of course.

Right...let's put this to bed now, draw a line under it all.

A few posters, myself included have given in to emotion and started flinging insults at each other due to difference of opinion. I am better than that, so apologies for my comments made last night.

Setanta, you and I are really not that different, our stories are remarkably similar in fact. Only difference is whilst I have taken a fair sum of profit from GGP, I also remain invested there, originally got in at 4.5p and rode it all the way up to 38p, should've sold the lot then! I still have a sizeable holding there and am expecting a rerate next year as we near production.

Either way, Olive branch extended, I suggest everyone does the same. This board is of no use to anyone with us all bickering like school children.
