DevonEx, how very flattering of you to put aside your social life to spend your busy psychiatrist time studying my posting on QFI/QED. A, literally, fantastic piece of deduction. Literally. How did you know I'd run off to join that 'Broad Church' cult?

If you've been involved in this since 2014 then you get my sympathy. I have been in and out and in over the years taking profit, cutting losses and avoiding cash raids where appropriate. As one should IMO. For that reason, I say if you don't like my not very prolific posts here - Tough! I don't ever need to ramp my investments and take a dim view of those who do.

One individual - no names - has written roughly 500 posts in the last month, 10,000 in the last two years. Admittedly, not all of the ten thousand have been on QED but, putting on your psychiatrists hat, surely this explains why anyone critical is classed as 'vile troll' or 'shorter'.

Incidentally, there's a very basic concept that you and others seem not to understand: a 'shorter' is happy when things are not going well. They don't moan about failure! And if the accusation is that people come on here to point out the negatives so they can then go 'short', you are overestimating the effect this board can have on 2 billion shares. Also there's hardly any point in flagging up negatives that are staring everyone in the face. This is basic stuff.

For example, I genuinely hope that those predicting a long timeframe before the need for cash raising are all correct - it will give me no pleasure if I get to call them out!

The best way to shut up the likes of me is with some real results - not the phoney ramping nonsense I keep seeing. In the meantime I can be filtered as I do with many here.

Gribbler, good to know that you're on the level.

Panicking? Not at all. I'm expressing my concern, that with schedules unmet, there may be a need to raise cash soon, that the hyping and aggression often seems to become more fevered in step with worry about cash burn. Its not unique or unexpected behaviour - its what some do when they're fearful of the sp drifting. My advice to those is maybe sell up and go invest in something less emotionally demanding.

I do see 'panic' in those who - for whatever reason - can't countenance criticism of the glacial progress. Incidentally, there is little less 'embarrassing' than the fawning, gung-ho, we'll-all-be-millionaires-rodders, 'what-price-when-it-blows' posters. Are these seriously expecting the noise will distract people from a disappointing report that fell short of expectations.
