That old chestnut about Maersk begging at the company door was, long ago, shown up for the rubbish it was. QFI PAID for Maersk to trial MSAR. It was not a success. End of. Let's move on, please.

Petergar, your point is a fair one - the BOD could be working on all sorts of deals. Gamechangers. This time next year Rodders.... However, there is no evidence that they're involved in anything. Can't blame anyone for posting as they feel. Sick of hearing you calling any critic (and be honest there's plenty of reason to criticise) a 'troll'. All posters opinions need to be respected - if you don't like it find another board!

Joking aside, I sincerely hope this is a 'tree shake'. It has that look to it - but then this is AIM. I admit that my patience with the company is in very low supply. Unsurprisingly then, I find Hawkhead's post about company pensions and earnings right on the mark - not what many people want to read but a timely reminder of the need for the company to pull something out of the hat for the people who have helped bankroll the business. All the drivel about MMs driving the price down, etc is not working. In fact, the opposite. It is this that I am 'whining' about! I am not posting 'conjecture'. I am stating the bleedin' obvious. Hope that clears things up for you.

No need for 'waffle'. Under the circumstances a brief update would do more good than all the conjecture. If anything, all the speculation - being pumped out particularly by the mutual massage club on iii - seems to be having a negative effect on the sp. It rallied for a bit when the boards went quiet last week. Too much of it and, maybe, people start smelling a big, fat, smelly rat. Give it a rest, please! GLA

Surely the wishful thinking of day traders - believing it that easy to manipulate the market. I don't think any serious holder would 'sell' because of a post from me criticizing the board's performance. [Or, for that matter, 'buy' because of other poster's hopes and aspirations.] As for 'Sell, sell, sell' - in retrospect, it would have been great advice in December or March, had I given it. I didn't, the much-derided Hawky did. Anyway, we all intend to sell at some point, so let's not knock it. I sincerely hope you are right TheOrns and that there is still something yet to come. GLA

TheOrns, I think you need to revisit your own posts. From December until the recent disaster your posts were largely involved in: defending the board, defending Mike Kirk, dismissing anyone who questioned the missed deadlines, dismissing posts doubting the outcome, advising us to hold, advising us to be patient, advising us to wait a bit longer. I can quite understand why any shareholder would want to promote the positives � in your case you clearly delude yourself that it will have a positive effect on the sp. I have no problem with that - though in my opinion it has no effect at all. I do have a problem with posts that are designed to silence questions or doubt. Have another look at yours. I can post some selected highlights if you like. For the record: As a long term holder I do not �deride the share��� cos that would be really stupid wouldn�t it? Have another look at my posts while you revisit your own.

TheOrns, is that the best you can do? Accuse anyone who doesn't print positive BS as a nutter/shorter or even worse... not a shareholder! Dear me. I would have hoped by now you lot would have worked out that the hype doesn't work - at least not for long. I post as I see it. There is nothing positive about the current situation. Nothing. There is some hope - but not much. It is up to the company to get us out of the mess. It's not up to shareholders to make silly excuses and to post rose-tinted messages on the boards. Try to be honest.

Won't be buying any ' they're in discussions' rubbish until the money's in the bank. Realistically, it's basically 'curtains' now. They may pull something out of the bag - but it's highly unlikely within the months remaining. Dilution is far more likely to be the next 'big news' here. Sadly.

Now, now everyone.. lets keep it civil. All parties have a right to be heard. It's OK to get the negative as well as the positive spin. Recent posters on here and elsewhere have been highly critical of the overtly positive - especially in the face of the recent disaster - messages that infest QFI boards. Seems worse on other boards than here (on iii it's like a bunch of stewards on RMS Titanic shouting so loudly about the new ice machine we can't hear the drowning passengers!LMAO). So, all considered, a bit of doom mongering is quite refreshing... If there are counter arguments to negativity - then let's hear them. The 'you're a nutter/shorter' response is wearing a bit thin. Still holding (reduced somewhat) but think of it as a long shot now - getting longer by the week.. GLA

Yeah right. Why would anybody want to post anything negative? People are looking at big losses on this one - some, I know, very big. Criticism is hardly going to be all that 'constructive' is it? To address the point: knowledgeable people may, for example, have been able to question the wisdom of completing the installation BEFORE the contract was signed. Unbelievable. Where from here? Given the short time before cash has gone, who knows. Could be the marine route: hubs of interest to the company include Singapore, Fujairah, Antwerp.

12 months! After 8 YEARS of failure to complete PILOT, why on earth should we anticipate a change in a few months?

The 'ridiculous savings' are actually tiny relative to KSA production - it was just a side play, albeit a potentially lucrative one for QFI. There's nothing 'going on' - that's now clear from the last RNS. However, the three - incrementally awful - RNS would allow those more in the loop to proceed their exit earlier than the rest of us.

Sadly, this was all too predictable - given the most recent runaround. Yes we've been well and truly taken down a - long and deceptive - 'Garden Path' . Absolute disgrace - the entire board should crawl away and hide!

True. But when you're told arrival is imminent it's not unnatural! Anyway, looks like some of the recent topping up is being 'de-risked' this week. Clock is ticking...
