tbf dgdg,it's an interesting point you make about shorts and I've tried to follow it up by checking the euroclear link posted by landadesa on 3rd dec.however i can't get a december figure yet(perhaps you need to be signed in or wait for end of month),but it would be interesting to see if it still the 2.08% previously given. perhaps landadesa may be able to help if so inclined.

dgdg,now that you have clarified your comment re booth, i accept that that is perfectly possible,but its all tbh.fairly pointless speculation imo. im afraid my view of the rns is not altered in aney way by your comments. of course we all expected the human factor study to be completed but it is a small positive to have it confirmed. i also stand by my comments as to the fairly rapid (imo) progress in the recruiting, given the presumably slightly difficult covid environment and that again confirmation of this is a positive..that you take a different view is fine with me,its just that you seen to be pretty negative now that you no longer hold.again thats fine and your prerogative.so far as im aware it has never been suggested the eu would be in 2021.i don't think there is anything which could be classed as a normal time scale for eu deal, as each situation is very much sui generis.i accept that you feel it is taking too long,but personally i don't.it's all just opinion.those of us who remain invested will doubtless have a range of views also,and only time will tell which of us are correct.it's the nature of the deal,rather than its timing which imo is critical.all just my opinion of course.

dgdg,with respect i think you are undervaluing the positive nature of this weeks RNS.i accept it is all a matter of opinion and i posted my reasons for regarding it as pretty positive earlier in the week after its release and do not intend to repeat them now.whether or not it has contributed to the increase this week we cannot say,but imo it's much more likely to be a factor than the unlamented loss of our erstwhile troll.he may well have contributed in no small part to suppressing the s/p,but i doubt his mere absence would have the opposite effect.

bad im afraid,imo. happy to hear other views though.

jet,i posted my reasons yesterday for viewing the RNS as pretty positive.obviously you would expect the company to adopt a positive tone,but the language in a couple of places suggested a little more than the usual self promotion.that said this is aim and all aim shares are very risky.im sure you don't need me to tell you this,but any amounts invested need to be consistent with your personal risk profile.i agree with those who say we have now largely moved from regulatory risk to commercial execution risk. although FDA approval is not a given,as nothing ever is. i personally expect FDA approval to be obtained,which will alter the complexion of things significantly. the nature and quality of the EU/uk deal will of course be the key determinant of the next step in the story.good luck with whatever you decide.

interesting post bignose,if a tad depressing.the remaining time scale does concern me, as im quite a bit older than you and if im still here in 2023 that will probably be the year when i have to decide whether to sell up or not.i had hoped FDA approval might have been through before then,but clearly not.despite having considerably less years left than jim,you will not be surprised that my wealth (ha ha) burn rate would not need to match his to reach the same result.lol

overall i found both the substance and the tone to be very encouraging,although i realise those hoping for EU news more quickly( i was not expecting anything yet myself)may have to reconcile themselves to a slightly longer wait.sorry for the multiple post but typing problem persists

i also think that to have completed the initial recruitment for the trial after ist announcement on 15th sept is no mean feat,give this covid difficult world and a condition which probably does not encourage broadcasting.also the fda timeline seems to me to be still on track as per the last RNS on that topic.

i appreciate everyone has their own perspective from which to judge things,but personally i found today's RNS to be quite positive.first we had confirmation of completion of the human factor study.now i doubt anyone though this was going be a particularly difficult hurdle to surmount,but i'ts positive have confirmation that this has indeed been completed and fron the language used, has been done in a positive fashion.it is good to hear that the us labelling can now be addressed.tbc
