Myself I have traded CPI for a few hundred quid every week for seemingly all this year and never talk of it. What I did say was last week I took just under 500,000 shares as the time for scalping at least at this level I beleive has gone.

Could buy a million more and might yet but for now IMO this is the time to go long for a proper pay day.

The Tory's all but decimated owning shares as a hedge / investment with the CGT reduced to £3000 allowance when with inflation it should be closer to £17,000.

labour have made no secret they want the rest, so I expect even that allowance to go or freeze and no indexation relief.

Me - I think the mood is changing at least until we get told things are still pretty tricky. If the forward statement in August suggests things are getting better then this can indeed romp up past 30p.

It might be or might not. 15p is really nothing to get excited about and frankly I am not. But having played this silly game for a long while I suspect the tide is turning for CPI and with a following wind we might yet see 40p - before year end.

I would be happy with that and closure - PE bid at that level and purely selfishly I would consider that a solid win for three years if disappointment.

I currently hold a paltry 4800 shares in this turkey. Which is 4800 too many but hey ho I sleep easy.

I would not bet against THG revisting its all time lows. It has the whiff of death about it.

Indeed I am not sure it can survive as it is currently configured. MM might end up with no options with the banks taking control if things here do not improve. Can us Brits do anything right anymore - except perhaps IPO duds like THG to seemingly mug investors?

Short of another fake bid (surely we are due one) this stock is stuck fast sub 65p for who knows how long, all the while the debt climbs and seemingly the very basis of THG gets sold off along the way.
