Lloyds Insurance policies are worse than useless....after 30 years
WE pay the premiums ....but....they Don't pay out on genuine claims
It's called thieving....the excuses are novel

Thankyou for your patience while I discussed the damage to your roof with our contractor.
They have identified that the roof has had previous repairs to the slates and lead tails have been installed to prevent the tiles slipping at some point in the past. This would be due to the nails that were used to fix the slates originally rusting and eventually breaking. This would be called nail sickness and becomes evident during high winds.
The high winds that we experienced have highlighted the maintenance issues with the roof that require attention. If the roof had been in a well maintained condition the winds wouldn’t have caused the damage they did therefore I cannot consider your claim on this occasion. I’m sorry if this is not the news you had wished for.
If you wish to provide any further evidence to support your claim in the future I will be more than happy to look at any reports/photos you may wish to send over to me. I am also happy to answer any questions you may have.
