When is the next trading update ?

It’s relevant not only because of the fairly long lease but the 250 jobs that are going which is down to the governments current policy. Which hopefully will soften in the coming months.

Trump said we have a great asset in North Sea oil and he believes the prime minister will get use it. Maybe he is about to soften his approach to North Sea oil .

It is relevant as we have another 9 years on a lease costing around 2 million a year. Also it says a lot about what’s going on with the British side of the business .

Brent flat now with gas up over 1.5% , could we end up positive .fingers crossed

Them shorts are getting well and truly squeezed at the moment . Hopefully it will continue that way.

I have traded this 4 times since the results . If it rises 4p sell, if it drops 4p buy .

Sainsbury’s PE is still slightly lower than Tesco at the moment which shows we are still good value . Special dividend to come from the bank sale plus the interim dividend. If Argos was sold I reckon that would be another special in the region of 60p a share but if not I think it’s heading in the right direction. A lot of people try not to buy from Amazon and after them Argos is the main place to look.

Reform have already promised to reverse the an on new oil production in the North Sea on day one of getting into power.

Tories have pledged to get all the oil out of the North Sea if elected.

Interesting to see how this goes this afternoon. I’ve got used to afternoon drops for little or no apparent reason. Will the buybacks conducted by ML change this 🤔

At this price buy backs can only be a good thing and if the price rises due to that it’s a win win.

What’s the chances of the divi being cut ?

I can’t get my head around this stock. It bears very little resemblance to the oil and gas price movements. Just hoping for good news on the 7th.

I’ve just been on the phone to them. I received a payment of around 20% of what I was expecting. They told me that there has been a delay from British Lands end and that they are chasing it up . Fingers crossed it will be in there shortly . Doesn’t instil confidence though.
