Well this is a shock !

With no end in sight and no clear pathway to peace we could test 300 again today . Oil currently around 103/104

It makes total sense to do it , would definitely increase the share price and let’s not forget that Linda holds more than a few shares.

Back to normal in a month ? Really ? I can’t see any way in which we will return to where we was a month ago in the next month . You can’t miraculously sort out all the problems of getting oil where it needs to be in that time frame even if Iran capitulated today ! Brent will hopefully drop to around 80 but that will probably take a minimum of 4 months and probably longer in my opinion .

Wow , what a day , well done to all that held onto these through some pretty traumatic times . I did sell a few today as I have been in way too deep but I am holding on the rest . As has been said before , the USA / Iran thing will not be resolved ( or at least the oil price ) any time soon .

It looks like the reason the div was cut by so much was due to the debt being above the target . If the debt comes down the div goes up . It’s a case of jam tomorrow (again)

Ouch ! Been a very difficult day but if you look back at where we were a few weeks back we would have taken this . Guessing it will be pretty volatile tomorrow but fingers crossed for a good day . 🤞

I can’t see how this is going to be sorted out quickly . I think we are looking at a sustained period of higher oil prices lasting at least to the end of the year .

Oil futures open at 10 tomorrow evening and then pre market auction starts at 07:00 on Monday . That will give us best indicator of where we open .
