When will a company update on trading come out?

Yes Toyota make 50% more cars than Ford and ford was 50 Million on one model.

Toyota could be few models, so initial contract double or treble or more than Ford RNS that shot up the price 50%.

I wonder what a 100 million + RNS would do :)

John Nice find. The name always baffles me? Gaurdian. What came 1st the chicken or the egg? SEE seem to have a patent on the use of glasses with DMS so clue no 583 as posted on here last 6 months and as mentions that Iam ever hopeful every day of clues brings an RNS out

That makes perfect sense to me. If people think L 5 cars be running around in mass in 2021 they need to see the Doctor. As with planes and cars decades of trials as i said yesterday.

2031 maybe too soon still for L5 so best the wise get buying shares in L2 & L3 with DMS.

Red Totally agree with that thinking. Might slowly gain trust with taxis slowly but can’t see mass market vehicles driving around for a fair few years after. Mind you won’t be a bad thing for millions of cars being installed with SEE tech during the wait ; )

Red It’s not just about cost of manufacture. Iam sure they been talking about the insurance implications for years. Who’s to blame? Who pays after an accident? Who’s fault was it? But more importantly who wants to mass produce a vehicle that more than half the customers won’t get in? So what caused the upset yesterday? Worries about China’s trading and relationship with the US in light of sanctions ostensibly and the gently rising Bond yields (interest rates) but perhaps it is simply ‘things were too expensive’ and riding for a fall. We’re relatively sanguine but it is not time to sell when a market maker doesn’t really want to hold your stock overnight as he will mark the price down to deter you… we have been diversifying across asset classes these last few years too so that little bit of gold nudges up as financial worries come along and currencies are just another form of ‘cash’ after all. A few more points are below. That said, to see the FTSE100 back eighteen years to the level it peaked on 30 December 1999 (on the back of the Tech, Media and Telephony bubble) is sobering but there is real value in many places at the moment – and these are not the sorts of stocks to be selling but I still find no reason to buy the FAANGs… so… don’t be irrational – don’t ‘panic’ but be sensible and perhaps yes, consider some of those cheap opportunities if you have some spare funds as the time to buy is when a distressed seller is looking for relief and the exit.

Since then, the markets have entered into another neutral and negative period of inactivity and results are punished if not at the top-end of expectations. That said, it is curious how a mainstream company with slightly lower outcomes than expected could be punished severely and see the company’s value on the stock market drop by say £50million but when you look under the bonnet, you realise that a tech-orientated Investment Trust like Scottish Mortgage has lost a ‘mere’ £1.5billion as the US Tech sector has drifted back a little – yes, just a little really. Whilst the shares are only down just a little over 23% you can see what I mean – and the Trust was creating new shares at the headier levels too but now the shares are priced below the underlying asset value and the premium payable has disappeared – at least in the short-term. Scottish Mortgage also borrowed more money and invested this too – it works both ways; on a rising market it makes money on that which accrues to shareholders but on the descent, it loses on investors’ money as well as on the debt which will still be repayable pound-for-pound. And no, we are not investing in US Tech or Trusts with big exposures to that sector.

Good to see a late declared 449,000 trade pop up at 7.27p

Lets hope its closer to Fridays opening price and a nice RNS to go with it.

The fundamentals of SEE not changed, i believe will be in more than 70% of cars that have safety tech installed. On top of no news that PIs like weve had a Worldwide wobble. My Investment manager friend wrote this....

Earlier than otherwise might have been but in view of the US wobble yesterday, I thought I had best send some thoughts. This was the third worst day for the Dow Jones in points’ terms though that doesn’t really mean anything very much. The higher the starting number, the easier it is to lose more points – it is percentages which count and this wasn’t big in historic terms, even if it wiped-off $172billion from the five hottest Tech stocks. For the Tech-heavy Nasdaq, it fell 4% (8% so far in October) and the most in one day since 2016.

We all know the UK catches a cold when the US sneezes. If you cant except ups/downs dont gamble on shares is my advice to those.

As i was writing this my news feed popped up with a lorry crashing this afternoon

James Lloyd, who passed the scene shortly after the crash, said a large articulated lorry had gone into the back of a minibus.
The force of the impact had shunted the minibus about 100 yards along the carriageway, he added.

Without jumping to conclusions and it may be something different but to not see a minibus? Distracted driver? Heart attack or whatever it will be SEE tech thats fitted in all vehicles in the Years to come to make the roads safer. As one Country makes it law, others will follow.

As manufacturers agree suppliers their competitors will be wanting the same in their vehicles. Maybe the authorities will only allow approved Tech to be installed, who knows. What we do know is SEE are cutting edge, leaders in their field, the best.

Not only the best in the Country of Origin but the Best on the planet. Thats a lot of cars, trucks, buses, trains and planes that in the next 2 years or so will be installing SEE tech into their vehicles.

We all know SEE are not the best at PR & IR but they are bloody good at creating Tech that will save lives and the biggest manufacturers in the World will want it. Contract wins show it already with the biggest brands signing up and many more to come. Deals already signed no doubt even but under NDAs cant shout about it until the times right.

Once its in millions of cars we can all stand there gloating...The money will come thick and fast in time and we can all say...

I own a bit of that :)

Least the wifes happy, she gets a quiet life while all on hear have to see the rants.
No ones more Peed off than me and everyone on here at a price drop, but the drop or gain at this point depends where you got on the bus. Some got the 1st stop and some got on at the end of the line. Ive bought at all the stops on the way up from 3p and bought a return ticket buying on the way back. If shares were issued on paper still i would have to build more shelfs to put the folders on, full of SEE share Certificates. My 3,4,5,6,7p buys Iam happy with. My 10,11,12,13p buys make me very sad at this moment in time.
Remember this moment in time is all it is. Sell and the moneys gone, hold and it might make you a small fortune.

In the last 4 or 5 weeks we have been here and crawls back up to just under 8p and drops.

No news so probably bounce around 7-8p until we get some. I seem to remember a big shoot up from 7.8p on Ford news.

Exhibitions might be a Year in the planning so booked ages ago. These buses and the like will be putting tech in future models built in and probably meetings with existing fleet customers, aswell as meeting distributors and any quoted companies. Seven new vehicle safety features would be introduced as standard equipment for all vehicles in
categories M, N and O (most will be required for newly approved types three years after the entry
into force of the proposed regulation, and five years after entry into force for all new vehicles):

a tyre pressure monitoring system, which can evaluate the pressure of the tyres or the
variation of pressure over time and transmit corresponding information to the user
while the vehicle is running. This requirement already exists for passenger cars, but
would now be extended to all types of vehicles;

intelligent speed-assistance system, which would (based on observation of road signs,
signals and markings or via electronic map data) alert the driver of exceeding the speed
limit by providing haptic feedback through the accelerator pedal;

driver drowsiness and attention monitoring, which would alert the driver if, through
vehicle system analysis, it assesses the driver's alertness as being insufficient;

++++++advanced distraction recognition, which would assess the level of the driver's visual
attention to the traffic situation. It would become mandatory at a later stage and may
cover the requirement to monitor the driver's drowsiness and attention;++++++++++++++++

It says alot when the chip manufacturers are moving their design from anticipated Level 4 to be used on Level 2.
That means thats where the market is in the industry, which then puts SEE right in the forefront of demand.
