We have received a proposal from one of our counterparties to farm-in to Block XX. We have hosted their due diligence visit to Mongolia and to the Block XX facilities, and discussions are continuing, focused on bringing this potential cooperation to a mutually agreeable conclusion. Meanwhile we continue to follow up on leads with two other potentially interested parties.

A ferocious bidding war is currently taking place imo. Those selling now will be sick as a parrot very very soon 😉

I think the farm in is taking longer because block 20 has become way way more valuable over the last 6 months. Why sell cheap?

China import 12 million bopd. Some of that is to fill strategic reserves. They “only” produce 4 million bopd so need foreign reserves. Issues in the Middle East means Mongolia becomes more and more important
