Investor33, in hindsight everything is obvious. I don’t see the value of “what if”. Re traders, when a CFD provider advertises they tell you how often people lose. But those figures are conservative. Trading is a losers game. Now an individual may win but if they play long enough they won’t. And their victory is in a large part down to luck.

I don’t think MATD will receive money for the licence but a commitment to spending on wells. I’d be very happy with that.

In theory if everyone filtered them it wouldn’t solve the problem because they also operate to scare off new investors. They want to: a. Drive out existing investors b. Discourage new investors.

Ultimately, I see them as bullies and bullies need to be challenged. This BB is finished anyway since they arrived. There’s not really much to say about the investment really, just read the latest RNS.

Investor33, I respect your view but don’t agree. They post amongst themselves so don’t need “oxygen”. The board will never be a place of reasoned debate whilst these paid stock bashers exist. I will be repeating themself because that’s ultimately what they fear. What they want is your suggestion: silence so they can appear reasonable and subtly fud spread. You are wrong about this.

I think leaving the Board wide open to paid stock bashers is a terrible idea. But we will agree to disagree. Feel free to filter me too. No hard feelings

The better analogue is more like: there are two mad man trying to burn your business down what do you do? There’s no police or fire bridge (admin here). Do you sit and watch them burn your business down? That’s the more fitting analogue.
