Having listened to (I think) all the interviews that PW has done in the last 6-12 months, it feels as though PW is less bullish about an acquisition this year. I presume, if I'm right, that's because POO has strengthened significantly in that period and that consequently less businesses are in trouble and more companies are looking for opportunities. PW alluded to it in the Malcy interview yesterday. I'm not against an acquisition as long as SDX's strategy is to do a deal 'only if it adds significant value' a la circle, although I don't think deals like that come along often! From this morning's RNS & looking at the presentation on the company website, it's clear that there's lots of 'accretive' (hate that word) stuff to come, irrespective of whether SDX buy something or not. As I mentioned yesterday, I'm only interested in a $1 billion MCAP if my holding isn't diluted too much by issuing shares to do any deal.
