I'm losing faith with each passing day of this deal every happening. 22 months since the deal was first muted. Stick or twist, that is the question as the opportunity cost here is quite high

pretty much every day, there's a very low value trade at 16:29:59 near as damn it. What purpose do they serve as surely selling such trivial amounts doesn't net any kind of profit....just curious, I'm guessing there's a perfectly logical explanation but I've noticed it going on for weeks

with SOL being drilled before any further appraisal wells on Indico, that ONGC listened to AMER but didn't agree?.....ah well, here's hoping SOL will be a success.

Great to see posts from both points of view, helps keep my enthusiasm in check. One (pragmatic not emotive) question, for those in the 'disappointed with the BoD' camp, why are you still invested and have been (in some cases) for far longer than me? I presume you do see value at some point? Interested in your thoughts......

You nailed it with that post mcb77. Not much to add, it just means another 90 days approximately of checking the 0700am RNS releases to see if there's any news. Lets hope the wait will (eventually) be worth it!

tomorrow or Monday telling us that the company are 'highly confident' of the deal concluding in Q2.....in June it'll be 2 years since this RTO started.....ah well, a little more patience required I guess!

CD - I fully concur with your post, hence why I am in 'deep' here. My post was purely stating that just because we're into (approximately) day 39/40 of the drill, that doesn't mean it's 'nailed on' to come in. Whatever you, I and many here believe about the paltry response to the OXY deal, Indico result et al, if Calao comes in 'none commercial', the SP will fall. I'm sure it will in time rise again but I'm just cautioning on people getting carried away that Calao is definitely going to come in. I will be more than happy for this drill to be 'majorly commercial'.

Pure supposition....await the RNS, a little patience as it can only be a matter of days away. Everything prior that is just setting us up for a fall!
