More good news from AMER this morning which has rewarded shareholders with a rise of a measly 0.4% in the share price. In a reserves update 1P reserves are up by 27.83% and 2P up by 23.62% in reports from Petrotech in Platanillo and the Mecaya fields and McDaniel at CPO-5. That gives a total 1P of 17.82 MMBO and 2P of 25.59 MMBO and that is after production last year of 1.61 MMBO from Platanillo and 1.15 MMBO from CPO-5.

But surely how tall you are shouldn't have any bearing on concerns?!

Fully agree Trek. AK has made this a far more complicated & protracted affair than I, and presumably most of us, expected back in June 2017. Now, we’re being told, with 16 days notice effectively to back the resolutions or the deal may well be off in its current guise. It’s the RTO that just keeps on rolling but not completing! Thoroughly fed up with it, particularly at 24p. I wonder how those who took part in the ‘last minute.com’ placing feel!

Quite easy, there's been loads of buys over the last 3 weeks and the price has stuck at/around 17p. That indicates that there's a large supply on offer at 17p. If the buying dries up, it will be interesting to see if the seller will take less or whether 17p (ish) is their 'floor'. I'm more interested to know who the seller is and why but if Calao comes in, it should all become academic

Still looks stuck around 17p to me?....I don't think we'll see significant movement either up/down until news on the well which is probably still 2 to 3 weeks away and/or news on another rig. Still, no rush.....

Even though LC reputedly says that share purchases by Directors do more harm than good (which I think is wrong), I believe now is the time for him/them to buy a meaningful amount to show that this company still has a viable future. I exited around September having become tired of the re-hashed RNSs' about MCPP's progress. I wish all holders all the best and hope this company can get the SP moving in a positive direction for a change. I'll leave it at that (and why I've not posted since last September) as there's nothing worse than someone hanging around a bb in a 'I told you so' way as that's a horrible trait to have. ATB.

Question is, what will those who took part in that placing do when it goes above 28p - could prove a tough nut to make much headway beyond that price (for a while)?

I still think I'd have preferred the warrants to have been exercised as the SP would need to be at least 35p for that to happen. I accept that equals more dilution but it would have meant an SP circa 35% higher than it is today. I guess I'm missing something obvious though?
