The final straw for me was when he started comparing himself to Darwin, Newton, Churchill et al, how deluded must he be? Then went on to get the 'resistance to change argument' back to front when it's actually the anti's who are resistant to change FFS laughed my socks off.
It's great to be able to open up the posts and not see his drivel being spouted 3 times a day.
Hopefully we can now get back to exchanging useful informative dialogue with a view to helping each other earn some decent returns in a mature rational environment. The SP 'TREND' is still climbing steadily as it has been all year and hopefully over the next few months we will get some positive news from a number of different fronts (company driven, sector driven and politics driven) that will keep it rising. Personally I'm not interested or concerned with daily fluctuations in the SP as I'm already significantly up on my investment but I'm holding because I see a number of influential issues on the horizon that have the potential to push the SP to increasingly higher levels.
Having worked for many years in the Development and Testing areas of the Aerospace sector I know that things never run smoothly at the beginning of a project and problems are encountered every step of the way as you work towards a certification deadline. However I also know that a lot of dedicated very intelligent professional people come together to overcome the issues no matter how difficult they might be. Igas and the sector it is operating in are effectively going through a Development phase and will encounter many difficulties but these will be overcome gradually as the sector matures over time. One only has to look at the advent of Nuclear Power or the landing of a man on the moon to see the resilience and aptitude of people to overcome seemingly insurmountable problems. You can bet your boots that whatever problems exist in the sector today there will be a lot of very clever dedicated people from all the disciplines working right now to overcome them by working on better technologies, better processes, better understanding etc etc.
GUYS GUYS GUYS
I've just spoken to the lse administrators and discovered that you can filter Rizalino out of your posts by doing the following.
1) Login to share chat
2) Click on the Share Chat box
3) On the drop down menu select Regular Share Chat
4) In the 'Filter' field type Rizalino and hit filter, job done.
I've just done it and it works a treat so from now on he's talking to himself as far as I am concerned, I wont even see his inevitable response to this post, he can huff and he can puff as much as he likes but from now on he is Lost In Hyperspace as far as I am concerned, he he he.
Hope you find this constructive and useful, GLA
If anybody could be accused of bullying it’s this ****, if we were at school (and let’s face it he talks like a 5 year old) he would have been sorted out long ago.

Re Ellesmere
Ignore anything Rizo the Riddler says, he can't even spell your name correctly and just regurgitates his previous posts. Let's just wait and see what the result of the planning appeal is because if it goes in favour of Igas all his comments and objections will be rendered irrelevant.
It's not just about Igas either because if Cuadrilla, UKOG et al make progress then there will be a positive knock on effect for Igas and once we are out of the EU we are going to have to think seriously about becoming independent with respect to energy whoever is in power. Also, the US are going to put an oil embargo on Iran starting in November so it will be interesting to see how that effects the price of oil and hence IGas SP. Lots of variables in play but the current SP TREND is positive.
Let Rizo wait until the SP gets to 39p because by then most of the rest of us will have scarpered with a healthy profit and he will be posting to himself, lol
Let’s hope we get the same transformation to our economy that fracking has given the US. Thanks for reminding us.
Ha ha ha Rizo what a **** you are. Japan is on the Pacific Ring Of Fire and consequently in a much more active and dangerous area, do some homework and check things out before making stupid unrelated comments
The UK has 15 operational nuclear reactors at seven plants (14 advanced gas-cooled reactors (AGR) and one pressurised water reactor (PWR)), as well as a nuclear reprocessing plant at Sellafield.
That's how significant the threat of Earthquakes is!
Ok so lets put this earthquake argument to bed.
Here is a link to a survey on Earthquakes In The UK written by The British Geological Survey which is a well respected impartial organisation.
http://www.bgs.ac.uk/discoveringGeology/hazards/earthquakes/UK.html
If you take the trouble to read it and study the 3 maps of the UK showing both historical and instrumental seismicity it is clear that the UK has a significant history of earthquakes going back throughout recorded geological time.
These records go back as far as 1832 on one map and a more detailed history since 1970 on another.
If you open up the 1970 map in a separate window and drag the timeline cursor at the bottom of the page to the right all the recorded earthquakes since 1970 will appear and you will notice that the UK is actually INFESTED with earthquakes and always has been. If you then hover your cursor over each one it will tell you the date, depth and magnitude of each event. (You might like to look at the area around Preston New Rd, based on the evidence of the BGS you can see its already infested and I think anyone would be hard pressed to argue that any new events in this area were 100% the result of exploration?)
Now I don't have the figures but my guess is that if you superimposed the events associated with unconventional oil & gas onto this map they would be lost in the crowd and you would have great difficulty even finding them, it would be like searching for a needle in a haystack and as a percentage of the overall numbers of events would be close to zero.
The BGS go on to state 'The driving forces for earthquake activity in the UK are unclear; however they include regional compression caused by motion of the Earth’s tectonic plates, and uplift resulting from the melting of the ice sheets that covered many parts of Britain thousands of years ago'.
In terms of the significance of these earthquakes to the general population I suggest that the next time you are buying a house wherever it might be in the UK you take this map to your estate agent and try negotiating a significant reduction in price based upon the evidence from the BGS and for that I wish you the best of British luck!
Rational evidence based replies welcomed, irrational emotional rants ignored.
Daytona65, welcome to the forum and thanks for your update on the Surrey situation which you posted at a very timely period as I had already set up a Surrey Earthquake Disaster Fund to help victims of the event which had already managed to raise £1.23 which just goes to show how seriously people are taking this issue, especially when you consider that this sum was raised over a period of only 6 months. Glad to hear that it was nothing more serious than Multiple Sclerosis you must have been relieved to learn this! I will talk to my team to see if we can agree to release some of our disaster fund contributions to repair your gnomes fishing rod.
I got bored when I saw who had posted, zzzzzzzzzzzzz
Ha ha ha. Feeble response Rizo. If you want to be a successful investor your research strategy will have to extend further than the first paragraph. Lol. Further breaking news on US sanctions against Iran. From November the sanctions are going to TARGET Iran’s oil industry. More bad news for Rizo but looking on the bright side good news for Igas and their investors.
Thank you Environmentalist for a rational, balanced, fact based assessment.
As for the other issue, Rizalino just keeps regurgitating the same old mantras that we have all heard a million times and yet we are all still here. Clearly he can't grasp the FACT that he is failing to influence anybody in this arena. His constant references to buying in at 58p, 39p etc make him look even more stupid because why would anyone EVER buy into a company they have consistently claimed as being doomed to failure?
Who does he think he is influencing? Certainly not us judging by the posts and I doubt very much if any of the people actually running IGas are even aware of him. This forum is a tiny spec on the landscape of igas investment strategy and I doubt any of us are major shareholders and they certainly wont be taking any notice of him as they operate in a different world entirely so let him have his little rants because clearly he isn't going to go away and if that's what keeps him happy in his lonely little world then so be it.
Shale exploration and fracking are at very early stages in their evolution and any new enterprise will be fraught with problems that have to be overcome. History is littered with examples of projects that were ridiculed as being impossible by the Luddites of this world but many of them as the result of perseverance, investment and hard work went on to achieve greatness. The history of aviation extends for more than two thousand years, from the earliest forms of aviation such as kites and attempts at tower jumping to supersonic and hypersonic flight by powered, heavier-than-air jets. I'm sure that every step of the way there were always Luddites creeping about in the background shouting 'that will never work'. And yet, Flightradar24.com - Live flight tracker! shows about 3300 planes in the air at the moment. Assuming an average capacity of 200, there are about 660,000 people in the air right now.
As individual investors I'm sure we have all done our own risk assessments, we each know how much we are prepared to invest and how much we are prepared to lose so even if we do lose it's not a big deal for us because we have already factored that in and got it covered elsewhere. We are all big boys capable of making our own judgements on when to move and at the moment it looks like MOST of us are synchronised especially since the SP TREND continues in a positive direction.
As I write some interesting news is coming in regarding US sanctions against Iran which come into force on Tuesday. CNBC headlines are as follows 'US sanctions on Iran could push oil prices above $90 a barrel by year-end'. Poor old Rizo has recently been advocating the demise of Igas based upon falling oil prices so no doubt he is going to be disappointed but for the rest of us it could turn out to be quite beneficial. It just goes to show that patience is a virtue.
Go on Rizo, make me laugh?
With respect to Igas Shale appraisal and development plan relative to the Tinker Lane site the RNS clearly states 'we have experienced some delays in our final preparations and now expect to spud our first shale appraisal well in North Nottinghamshire at Tinker Lane in Q4 2018'. Q4 is not far off and when Igas spud this well I think we can realistically expect to see it having a positive effect on the SP.
If you read the Igas RNS Trading Update and you can understand the English language what it says with respect to Stockbridge is this, 'the side-track of a water injection well, although successfully drilled, encountered greater than anticipated reservoir connectivity and consequently the well has been abandoned'. The reference to 'abandoned' therefore is relative to the side-track water injection well and not the whole field. The RNS then goes on to say 'As a result we have shut in some production TEMPORARILY from the field until water management is optimised'. Furthermore with respect to the Stockbridge FIELD recovery project the RNS states 'Workovers on production wells have delivered above expectations',
Wise words Bunts, let’s show some dignity in the face of childish provocation.
The Telegraph 19th June 2018 - Judge rules fracking is NOT banned in Scotland. Nicola Sturgeon (the wee Krankie) is urged to apologise.
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2018/06/19/judge-rules-fracking-not-banned-scotland-despite-ministers-saying/
Bunts is right, lets all agree to ignore the irritating **** starting from right now.
Hi bunts, I’m not at all irritated by Rizo. To be honest I quite enjoy the banter and his deluded infatuation with the past is pretty easy to counter. Having said that I’m sure you are right about his mental state and one shouldn’t mock the afflicted so in future I will take your advice and try to ignore him. After all as long as the SP continues to recover then nothing needs to be said. Keep the faith.
Who cares? Guys help me out here Rizo The Riddler is locked in 2013 can someone unlock him please? There is a saying in Indian Philosphy that is undoubtedly true and cannot be denied. It was adopted by the late great George Harrison and states All Things Must Pass. Rizo, 2013 is gone, everything has changed, wind and solar are light years away from being capable of supplying the nations needs and we don’t have the space they require anyway. Fracking IS viable and IS going to happen furthermore the Government has now stated its support. There is only one direction this share is going and it isn’t towards 58p.
