A nice positive UT at 2M. I suspect we have had a lot of fallers this afternoon, nothing wrong with a bit of profit taking, and a 10% rise is just too much temptation for some. I am hoping it his more of the same tomorrow.
Don’t forge that that less than a calendar month ago, it was trading at 450p with all the uncertainty and negativity in front of us. We are still 10% below that figure, this is just readying up for action. When free issue is sticky, the share price will eventually go up to tempt sales, this is how the game works.
Hi Longer Guy, I hold Nex and IAG in a separate account and they are my 3-5 year plan. They will bag within 3 years if not double by then. They are relatively safe and I have no concerns or bother about them.
The whole of my trading fund is in ASOS, which is a significant amount. In the past, my strategy was bottom feeding and I did ok, but missed out on the big money when they jumped by 50% or bagged, such as Lamprell, 888, Alliance Pharma, RTN and many more. I would jump at 10%, so I am now going long and strong with Asos to see what happens. I am select with who I invest in and spend a lot of time researching them. I genuinely believe that ASOS will be 10 pounds before the end of the year. I also believe that there is a 50% chance it will be bought out in the next 3 months, but I ain’t going until it bags at least.
as yet, there are no ii’s selling up as there have been no tr-1’s. issued. the small sized tracker funds can’t start buying until monday, until the official placement starts. the scenario with the tracker funds selling on the ut would have benefitted the shorts heading for the door. one thing is for sure, a ut of that size indicates some type of action. you need balls of steel to hold this share but it sure is entertaining. the whole of my pot is with this ***** and i ain’t leaving until i bag or lose the lot.
When 7.5% of an organisation’s issued share capital is traded in a UT, it is highly unusual. This is probably the Tracker Funds jumping out and I will be also very surprised if the shorts were not reduced by at least 50% today. I said last Friday after the close, we will know where we are going this time next week and the water is now calmer and bluer. If the share is not above placement price next week, I will be amazed.
Interesting action on the tape this morning, 2Million went through half an hour ago on three trades. We know that none of the II’s are selling, so it has to be the trackers. If that is the case, the free issue is going to tighten up dramatically and we may see those 20% rises in an hour, just like the Revb days last summer, oh how I miss them.
