The conflict is escalating, this is no longer about how much airlines hedge and the POO. It is about worldwide recessions, inflation and the fear of losing your job. If we continue to wake up to headlines like for the next few days, I can see 1000p being tested.

@Aspers: I use Marine Traffic, I can see about 4 going through and about 80-100 waiting outside, ready to enter the Persian Gulf, obviously these will be empty. The ones going through are loaded traveling through to the Gulf of Oman.

Have a look at the Maritime Vessel Movement map, you can see all the tankers huddled together waiting outside the Strait, hoping it is all going to blow over. There is the odd one going through but the majority are waiting outside.
