It's perfectly possible to be carrying the virus but have a viral load which is below even the best performing kits limit of detection. Hence you need to isolate in case you become sick within that 14 day period. Testing on arrival would catch some but not all cases

Personally AVCT market cap is too high for me to get involved now. Seemingly a great company but I can see ODX multi bagging if this works out and AVCT hard to see that

Usual process is to freeze design before you conduct external studies. But this isn't usual times and the whole product offering is reliant upon other subsystems from other companies being integrated and working effectively. Systems integration is not an easy task and it could be that tweaks are required in the AB test to support the software in the app (or the other way around)

Therefore it may make sense that design freeze is not publicly announced yet

I don't think people realise just how big of a deal a close collaboration with the Burnet Institute is. They are massive players within infectious disease and also diagnostics and can count several Key Opinion Leaders on their staff within these areas.

For the record the Roche headline 100% sensitivity 14 days after infection is based on only 29 positive samples tested. Its pretty statistically weak to backup a 100% claim
