Spread is currently 3p again! you cant make it up. As soon as the bid ticks up even a penny wham theres an increased spread

Regulator the tories are trashing the reputation of the entire country. Hopefully our European friends will see the thin fake political veneer and still appreciate the contributions UK scientists and organisations still make.

Imo Novacyt is so valuable right now as they are supplying the product which is in demand for now which is a laboratory based antigen assay for high throughput testing. They also have a new variant which can differentiate SARS-CoV-2 and Influenza

But right now i wouldnt invest in Novacyt as its too rich for me and i dont see its potential as multiplying much from here

I have invested in Omega as i believe it has a strong portfolio of products outside of COVID hitting commerical pahse. WHO pre-qual of HIV is a massive step forward! I also believe they have a product as part of UK-RTC which will be suitable for the next phase of COVID response for antibody testing with LFT.

The wild card extra is the mologic saliva based antigen LFT which they will be manufacturing. This also has massive potential if brought to market on time.

All IMO i would urge everyone to Do your own research

In the bidstats link it says theyvare looking for antibody lateral flow tests and under concepts it does indeed have bullet for swabbing.

It does also state both manual and automated methods in concepts which to my interpretation means they are merely discussing examples of products which could meet the requirement rather than a hard and fast list of requirements.

Deeks is blinkered by his own scientific perspective. A lot of clinicians see the value in mass testing even at the cost of some accuracy as you pick up cases you wouldn't have otherwise and so break the chain of transmission

AT least that means hands are a bit stickier at this price range

Its a purely selfish point of view not taking the vaccine. Can guarantee people refusing it will view themselves as not being vulnerable to COVID-19. But of course they can transmit it to people who are vulnerable

If this was a particularly virulent strain of a more lethal virus I.E Ebola the same muppets would be queuing around the block
