The 3rd of the three strategic objectives is delivered and yet again the markets fail to respond.
Next milestone is the handover to ILTL on the 1st?
Then what?
Do we think it will take Annual Results to make this move?

Interesting wording. “...brings to conclusion restructuring of... operations”. Why does this read as though EDL are now free to move onto bigger things now that the coal is sorted...

Not the news I was hoping for, however, like a trip to the dentist, a necessary pain, perhaps, for long term gain.
Reassuring that DB has extended their investment. Not sure what I’ll do about topping up, but clearly not selling.
I’m sure LR knows what he’s doing, however controversial that will no doubt sound. Best is yet to come.

No doubt this will produce coal. The photos show it’s there and the customers are paying upfront. That gives them income and revenue stream on which to build.
I would agree that the future is in diversification.
Hadn’t even thought about this when I started building a position a while ago.

Long term hold here for me as the upside is just ridiculous. Will play trader with some other stocks... :))

Interesting hypothesis, Sausage.
I remember the RNS saying that we'd moved to the North but hadn't thought about further use of the area. Nick coming onboard and the BB speculation earlier this week (or last) has totally shifted my view on EDL's long term positioning from coal producer with, now, little or no part in the production or sale process (ILTL) to something wider within the mining industry.
Can't add much more than that for the moment (busy Friday morning) but am totally with you that there is possibly something bigger here than was generally entertained at the beginning of the year (at least to amateurs like me).
Good positive post. Now I just need a little time to top up (if someone can keep the SP where it is).

JMA46 - if I had the choice, I’d go for Palladium, followed by Gold, Platinum etc.
But I don’t have the METS.
We will find out soon enough. It could be kryptonite. Then the MMs would be shaking in their cubicles.

Jedster... on a pure point of procedure, if you’re going to bed at 21:38 you should be up before the RNS updates are typically released at 07:00.
I would suggest that if you’re bored with waiting and just want that “Christmas* morning” excitement of waking up to a welcome surprise, you should try going to bed much later, possibly aided by a nightcap. [*or any other faith-based calendar event of good sentiment].

GW, would agree that as much as the rise this week was nice, it may have been a little early. We shall see on Friday once the transaction goes through. But, as you point out, the mine now needs to demonstrate a profit - especially as third parties are now seemingly owning much of the activity.
I’d happily wait if there was a “grander” scheme that was more than just flogging coal.
But I’d like the SP to reflect progress during that journey.
